Great little vid! You are absolutely right almost no good 1/18 scale accessories are readily available. Very creative and makes me want a 3D Printer! Keep up the great work 👍
Great ideas that don’t involve a 3D printer for the most part. I have seen people use altoid tins as rock sliders and styrene you can make a lot of items too.
Hi what are the roof dimensions on the ftx outback mini x fury i want to 3d print a roof rack but cant find the dimensions for it anywhere online, If possible could you share the link for the roof rack on it please
Our original recently gave up the ghost and fell apart, so just got a new one made, measuring 70mm by 120mm. This is 10mm each way smaller than the original and fits way better.
I briefly explained in the video, but essentially what I did was fasten several lengths of the 1mm elastic width-ways across the roofrack. I then fastened lengths from front-to-back, and as I 'crossed' one of the other elastic, I did a single knot on to it. I then did this all the way to the other end. I repeated this with a few other lengths, and this then gives you a scale cargo net. As I said, a bit of a faff, but looks far more in-scale than using a 1/10th one.
This whole channel is so wholesome! Great job, gents.

Creating and scavenging the accessories was all part of the fun.
Awsome 👍👍
love your ideas. I'm looking to stock my new 2021 TRX4 Bronco with scale accessories and I want some DIY ones.
And most of them can be easily scaled up for 1/10th scale and have the same effect/look.

You should make and sell these items. Good vid subbed
Thanks for the sub! Ha, Luke had actually said about making and selling the bed rolls, tents, windbreaks, etc! Cottage industry!
