I had lice twice in middle school and they made me put a plastic bag on my head and as an autistic girl with the mind of a 6 year old, I didn’t understand what was happening and started crying because I thought they were trying to kill me 😂 this was 8th grade that this happened back in 2003 (man I feel old lol) my dad was so angry and ripped the bag off me and yelled at my teachers. They called social services on us just because we had lice and CPS laughed their asses off and hung up the phone and told my dad to shave my head to get rid of it. I didn’t care though because I got to wear a wig from my Halloween costume so it worked out but yeah the bag traumatized me.
