This is from their 6th and final album with Jim. This is probably my favorite album by them. Favorite song, LA Woman.

LA Woman is, IMO, their best album. The title track is one of my faves by any artist during this period.

Killin it tonight Biz! Love The Doors, Jim's vocals and the organ made for some iconic original music. Great choice!

Happy holidays to you as well. Damn, I've always loved this song so much. I have several but it is truly one of my absolute favorite songs by them. That casual rolling swing that still is driven by this intense energy, it's just the greatest combination and the chord changes in the melody are fairly emotional at points.

Biz, you really should review this entire album. It's packed end to end with banger tracks. At least give the title song a listen. You'll see why this is my favorite Doors record.

Just in case you were wondering (somebody must be), that brilliant bass playing is courtesy of the great Jerry Scheff, who was Elvis Presley's bass player from the late '60's until his death. One of the great rock bassists. He plays on the entire LA WOMAN album.

From the first time I heard this song its made me laugh due to the sarcsm in Jim's voice in corelation to the lyrics and goofy melody. "Don't you love her as she's walking out the door like she did 1000 times before"😂

Great song, Biz, One of my fav Doors tracks. Yo Biz, You've said in other reactions that you enjoy movies. Well if you havent seen it, You gotta check out The Doors (movie). Oliver Stone ( the director) stretches a few truth's for entertainment purposes, of course. But other than that, the movie is spot on. And Val Kilmer, does an incredible job of playing Morrison (in my opinion). But check it out, if you havent already.
