Yes, sun forms are a feature of the paid versions of Zoho CRM. If you are on the free version and you are considering upgrading, I strongly suggest you consider Zoho One (small monthly fee for access to tons of useful apps from Zoho): go.zoho.com/Zod
Do you have a solution for connecting price books to this subform in the deal module? or create some other automated way to calculate discounts for each product?
Hello, dear Greg, thank you very much for this video, are you planning to shed light on function for populating products (Subfrom in deals) to Deals related Products? Thanks
Hi Ilya, thanks for your comment! Yes, sorry for the delay! I've been so busy with client work and I've had a lot of holidays recently! I'm really going to try to dedicate more time to RUclips in future and I hope to add at least 1 video per week. It's just quite expensive for me to miss paying client work to make free videos on RUclips (as I don't have enough subscribers to earn anything from my videos). But I know the community finds them very helpful, so I will try as best I can to make more videos! Thanks for your support!
Hello, can you please clarify how the deals can be filtered according to products? When I go to filters teh section Products and Services is not available. Thank you!
Hi I find your video all the more interesting that it follows the same approach in any case at the beginning. I was thinking of linking the quote we do from Books to the CRM, but hadn't thought of doing the quote from the CRM. I have a Products&Services module in Deals and I created a sub-form but without using it for the quotes I make from Books connected to the CRM. I had planned to link to the quotes made in books, and it makes me think to link to the articles instead of the quotes On the other hand, a bit like with subscription where you create a product that can contain articles, it would be nice if there was a concept of "product" and that it was possible not to synchronize all the articles in books with CRM . It avoids having thousands of item references. Do you have a trick to get around the heaviness?? 😀👍
My suggestion is to only create your products in CRM and then sync those to Books automatically. In my next video, I'll be teaching how to create the quote in CRM and then how to create the Invoice in Books. It makes sense to keep all the data in CRM until the client has accepted the quote. Only then will the quote become a sale and then Books gets involved to handle the money :)
Technically, yes, you can "workaround" almost anything in Zoho. Depending on your use case, I would suggest looking at having multiple connected modules instead. For example using a lookup field on the other module to connect back to the main module. Then the record will show in a related list on the main module. This is normally better than using a subform anyway
Really great tutorial... I apply it in my LEADS module to quickly fill the products when receiving a generic request... Thanks for these samples very usefull... need more 👏👏👏 One question...??? How is possible now to include this Subform (or part of it) in an email template...??? Thanks
Sorry I’ve been extremely busy, had a loss in the family, and I’m currently ill with the flu! So I’ve had to postpone making new videos for awhile. I hope to make additional videos in the new year. Merry Christmas
Really like this video, id be interested how to create an invoice (zoho crms invoice) from this subform as opposed to a function that looks at the related list, which Ive got in place at the moment.
Sorry, I became extremely busy with my consulting work and I’ve had a lot of holidays booked. So I haven’t had a chance to record further videos for this series. I’m hoping to continue in the next 2 or 3 months
I can't wait to see the next step!
Sounds exciting!
Thanks for sharing 👍

Why I don't have the SubForm in my zoho? Does it require any paid module?

Really great video, thanks for your knowledge, I really want to see how it will be possible to send the list in sub-forms in potential to Books ;)
Yes that will be the next video. I’ve just been extremely busy and had loads of vacations recently. Hopefully in the next few weeks

Unfortunately you cannot filter by subform!

@@ZohoExpert agree with you and good idea at qote step to create "Products" in CRM without sync in books untill quote became "order" :)

is there any workaround to have more than 2 subforms in a crm deal module?

Glad you found this helpful!
In the email template, you can add a table, then select sub form 😀
@@ZohoExpert Found... Tks 😀

Can we hire to do this link to Books?
Yes, please visit zepartner.net to enquire
Super explanation. I am wondering why you have only very less subscribers.
Thanks! Make sure to subscribe then 😂
Great, it works in contact module as well. Just save before checking your formula…
Next?
Trying to automate invoices from that now!
