The woman is white, pale skin, large eyes, long hair, tall, slender, feminine, elegant. The man is a POC, darker skin, short, goofy. Amber has said how SM made her lighten her skin, and that weight is an obsession with many artists like herself suffering from eating disorders. So many Koreans get eyelid surgery for multiple reasons that include looking "less Asian". Amber has also talked about the pressure to be a certain way, act a certain way, think a certain way. Maybe the woman represents the industry's "standard" for women, and the man represents her true self. This could be why it starts and ends with the female behind the camera watching in the distance (look at me now, check this out), while Amber's first and last interactions are with the man. I'm probably overthinking things but either way this is a lovely video.

I honesty didn't listen to Amber's music in years nor watched her vids outside of the kpop era. I appreciated her interviews and skits and other stuff she was in as a host or guest, stuff that didn't involve singing. And dang, this video is pretty awesome must say. I honesty didn't listen to Amber's music in years nor watched her vids outside of the kpop era. I appreciated her interviews and skits and other stuff she was in as a host or guest, stuff that didn't involve singing. And dang, this video is pretty awesome must say.
