I get that yall went 5-1. But lets be real, the Bengals, Ravens, and Browns are all contenders. So do not expect the team to go 5-1 against them again
@@MetroSportsYT Why not? No one expected it then. The point is, no one knows until the ball is snapped. “That’s why they play the game”. So if everyone is going off of “what happened in the past” to validate who is who…don’t stop when it comes to that fact then…that actually happened!
@@MetroSportsYT steelers had very subpar quarterback play last year and still made it to the playoffs with Kenny Pickett and mason rudolf the bengals didn’t get better they lost they’re running back and Tyler Boyd the browns is the browns and always will be Watson isn’t going to win you any big games and the ravens not worried about mike tomlin is 7-1 against Lamar Jackson they got his number you need to do a little more research i don’t understand how you don’t see the Steelers at the top of the division when the quarterback room did nothing but upgrade the offensive line upgrade Linebackers and DBS upgrade i think you’ll be talking a different language mid season you must be a bills fan

It's too soon to know if this team will make playoffs. Lots of new faces. They sound improved though. The thing that sucks is they really have one of the toughest schedules this season.

Potentially make the playoffs? We made it last year with our starter missing 3 games, our line being awful, our OC being a nightmare…playoffs are a guarantee to me

I mean it doesn't say everything but look at the Steelers record over the last five years particularly versus the Ravens but the browns and Bengals as well the Steelers know how to be AFC North teams

@@MetroSportsYT Yeah I hated it when the Bears were the #1 offense 3 weeks straight _BEFORE_ they acquired D.J. Moore & *_Fields_* simply couldn't win, what with making Zero Tackles or INTs or any plays at all on defense.
I have _never seen_ any QB get so much undeserved hate. That 3 weeks out-did any 3 weeks stretch of Allen, Mahomes with Hill, Burrow with an élite WR *trio!* & who did _Fields_ do it with? Kmet before the Bears realized he could catch, Mooney & Claypool, two guys who failed to catch passes that *landed on them uncontested.*
That's not even close to all. Ever seen a play like the one at 22.45 of ruclips.net/video/FiiK21VzI_o/видео.html? The RG doesn't stumble or trip. He just runs away from his block & tackles the C off of his to boot. That's not even the only time it happened that one game. It's not the only game the Bears' o-line was filmed sabotaging Fields.
Fields gets blamed for team losses when he elevated the offense. Eberflus comes in twice & cancels all the plays Getsy used to improve the offense, Fields gets blamed for losses due to play-calling. Fields *calls **_out_* the play-calling, fans & media pretend that they didn't hear him. But the response from Eberflus & all Bears' management was telling.
Dead silence.
Now if I was an HC on the hot seat for these losses & my star QB came out & notified the public that someone was effing up, I'd be on him at least like Bellichick & slam him for speaking out. But saying _nothing_ indicates Eberflus 1) was already aware of it & 2) was A-okay with it. Imagine being on a team where your HC openly makes it clear he's okay with his own coaches sabotaging you, & the o-line too.
I keep telling y’all…Russ will be in the MVP conversation this year. Denver was Denver because of Denver, and to expect Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins to be better than Russ this year is crazy!

Making the playoffs is set in the bar awfully low they made the playoffs last year with Kenny Pickett and there's so much improved over last year the low end bar should be if the steam can win a couple of playoff games
DeShaun Watson is a bomb he had one decent year and if Russell Wilson is not better than DeShaun Watson than the Steelers will stank
DWat is an elite talent. That scandal got into his head, the same way the attack on Nancy Kerrigan got into Tanya Harding’s head. He knows what he did was wrong, and he kind of got away with it. Sometimes, when people get away with crimes, they suffer from guilt.
Plus, he knows that even if he wins no one is going to like or respect him. He will never have any endorsements or win an MVP, or receive any of the accolades befitting a man with his talent, so he is subconsciously imploding because he isn’t working as hard - or at least stalling. He can’t get out of his own head because he knows we all know he has issues.
But make no mistake about it, he’s a top-5 QB talent. I’m talking about raw QB talent, not performance.
WHEN I HEAR THIS THESE GUYS MUST REALLY WATCH THE AFC NORTH BALL GAMES BUT US AFC KNOWS WHOS THE KING OF THE NORTH AND ITS THE STEELERS & BENGALS WILL BE IN 4TH PLACE BECAUSE WATSON WILL RETURN BETTER
Justin Fields is just a name if you watch any film on him he's a bum you can't read defenses maybe he had no confidence in Chicago and he can learn here but for the Steelers they need Russell Wilson to play b-ball

People think I’m crazy when I say this but Russ is still elite! He hasn’t lost anything, and every time someone claims he has, I ask what he has lost.

Some will claim he has lost a step, but he rushed for 350 yards on n mostly non-designed runs.
Russ is going to come into camp better than anyone has ever seen him, and he might just have the best season he has ever had.

I did see that they were trying Troy at right. Personally I’d want to keep Jones at right but it’s cool either way
@@MetroSportsYT Troy’s arms are too short and with his back to Troy he’s have to worry too much. Wilson already holds the ball a long time and so does Fields. Jones is made to be a left tackle. Mins would have been a nice addition and a great right tackle but I’m happy with what we got. Troy was a steal at pick 20

Fields holds onto the ball because as several plays in the first 23 minutes of ruclips.net/video/FiiK21VzI_o/видео.html show, the other option is to drop it & allow the opposing team to run it back for 6.
How tf do you not know the difference between standing in the pocket & having to scramble with the ball in hand? Also, the only time Fields "suddenly evolved" the tendency to hang onto the ball *when there was an **_open_** receiver* was after the Bears Ordered Him Not To throw to certain receivers on certain plays, around week 5 of '22.
At the time everyone knew this because they said "the Bears had to do this in order to simplify the offense for Fields."
It was 2-3 weeks _after that_ that even the stupidest Fields haters realized 1) that this made Zero Sense & 2) that this implicated the coaches that the narratives changed to "It's Fields' Fault. He can't read defenses & *that's why* he holds onto the ball too long."
& as with all stupid people, once they decide which false meme they believe they become 100% certain it was Always True. But you know what?
