And a ton better than any live action remake made nowadays. All agenda pushing, and almost no true entertainment value or heart put in unless they get really lucky.
@Crispy Butter Balls I was surprised and confused as to why Bill told Russell to stay in the TV since they are all main characters assuming they all should stick together. Plus, it would have been cool if the director of the movie had an actor play Russell as live action like the others.
@@zzskyninjazz1821 That might be true too where maybe the director also had the opening for someone to play as Russell but nobody auditioned for Russell or nobody was good enough to play as Russell so maybe the director had to adjust the script removing Russell out. However, maybe the person who was voicing Russell as a cartoon could have played as the live action Russell.
@@afriendofbean That may have been part of the problem. The actor who was voicing Russel didn't look like the animated character. Plus he was a lot younger than the rest of the guys so they producers had to contend with child labor laws. They may have also kept him in the tv to watch the home front as well and create a sense of urgency to get the gang back into the television set so that they wouldn't lose their turf to the bad guys. It could have been a lot of different reasons.
@@lucindamobley5492 Yes, maybe if anyone did audition for Russell, they probably didn't look like him from the cartoon (unless the director arranged for the person to wear makeup to look like Russell) which could be another reason why Russell was not made as live action for the movie. Also yes, maybe having him stay in the TV was a good way for him to keep an eye on the junkyard preventing the bad guys from fully taking over since one of the bad guys said that when the show starts, they will be doing "buck buck" on him alone and him staying in the TV was probably another good way to persuade Fat Albert and everyone to hurry up and get back inside. Probably another good reason why Russell was not made as live action for the movie is because, the character Russell wears heavy winter clothes (winter jacket, scarf, and winter hat) and maybe the director felt that since the movie was being filmed on a hot day, he (the director) didn't want the person playing as live action Russell to sweat a lot wearing heavy winter clothes.
I would be happy and thrilled to see my favorite Cartoon Characters come out of the tv and here's who I would love to see come out of the tv CatDog Danny Sam Tucker Jazz Rocko Heffer and Filbert and Spunky Timmy Cosmo Wanda Twilight Spike Rainbow Dash Fluttershy Applejack Pinkie Pie Rarity Ed Edd and Eddy Courage Muriel Eustace Charlie Itchy Sasha Carface Killer Annabelle and Belladonna and Littlefoot Cera Ducky Petrie and Spike and Shadow Sonic Silver Tails Amy Knuckles and Cream I would want to do the opposite I would jump into the tv into my favorite cartoon worlds and favorite animated shows and movies and meet my favorite cartoon characters and animated movie characters in the body of my white werewolf OC self.
@GreenJacob 18 I wondered that too since all the characters usually stick together. I guess the reason he didn't jump out with everyone else because Bill gave him an order to stay in the TV either because he (Bill) felt that they will all be back in a few seconds and/or he (Bill) knew that jumping out of the TV could cause fading and losing color and Bill was just keeping Russell protected. Either way, it's too bad the director didn't get an actor to play as Russell since it would have been cool to see Russell as live action like the others.
@@londons399 If the director couldn't find an actor, he probably wouldn't have filmed this movie until finding an actor if he was choosing to have Russell as live action but, it seems like the director probably wasn't planning on having Russell as live action like the others which seems unfair for Russell.
@@afriendofbean I think I have the fact that maybe all the others characters are older than him so he probably won't fit with the theme the movie was going
@@londons399 That is true that Russell is the youngest but, he's still considered a main character on the show especially I have seen some episode of "Fat Albert And The Cosby Kids" and Russell is always there with the gang especially at the end of some episodes, it shows the gang playing in a band with trash equipment in the junkyard and Russell plays empty metal cans with two spoons, Dumb Donald makes music with a steam pipe, Bill uses an empty trash can as a drum, etc. Here is a RUclips video of the gang playing in a band from one episode (it might have been an episode how they made these trash pieces into instruments) showing Russell part of the gang in the band,ruclips.net/video/gFwLE62JvoE/видео.html So for these reasons, Bill should not have ordered Russell to stay in the TV if he (Russell) is a main character on the show while Bill got to do what he wanted by jumping out of the TV. If Bill's idea for Russell to stay in the TV so the bad guys don't take over the junkyard and for Russell to keep an eye on the junkyard, that would not be a good idea by himself because (as you mentioned) he's too young. This is the most 2000's thing I've ever seen
-the movie
-it's on a car screen
-its probably a dvd
-it's a road trip
And a ton better than any live action remake made nowadays. All agenda pushing, and almost no true entertainment value or heart put in unless they get really lucky.
Plot Twist: The car is heading to the Bill Cosby court case
“I’m telling mom on you” That’s always funny to me
1:23-1:25
One of him to stay behind.
Gag idea: So that's why they call it a UNIVERSAL REMOTE
Bill: Russell you stay here!
Russell: iM tElLinG mOm oN yOu!
2:34 i don't want to use my head
I can hear Taylor Swift's "End Game" Featuring Future and Ed Sheeran on the radio.
Poor Rudy, first one to jump out after Albert and get pummeled by everyone else that followed after. That's gotta hurt
Fat Albert 2004 on Christmas Day.
Are you serious, Bill? Leaving Russel behind? Without Russel who is gonna constantly throw roasts at Rudy? XD

Bill Cosby should’ve done an animated reboot of Fat Albert
The animation in this film was gold! They would have made a hell of a reboot
Maybe not Bill, because of his reputation, but someone who genuinely wants to continue the show and not use it to push agendas.
Everybody, circle up!
i remember when i was younger i had alittle crush on the one who was playing rudy in the movie
