    Oh man I had this sampler. It was awesome 👌 👏 👍
    Your tracks are great, takes me back !!! Love seeing you use the tracker. Never really thought about controlling the sampler with a tracker. It makes total sense though because the Amiga was basically a sampler/tracker combo.
    I'm sure you can pull a lot of tricks with the tracker that you wouldn't think of using a Cubase style sequencer program.
    Anyway awesome thanks for sharing this!!!

    The MAIN drawback compared to the other Ultras is the Output converters.
    Lower output gain, so quieter, i.e a higher noisefloor.
    Still a dope Machine!

    Nice to see some liveliness on these fab samplers here.
    Always disappointed in what you get on RUclips about €4’s. Especially when you own them yourselves and want to dive deeper. There’s a whole world beyond when those cords functions come into play. (The modular thing) Would be smashing to see some wizards diving on that level too. Fantastic /focused sounding, old fashioned reliable digital technology with low latency. Gets you into who’s-who’s-land if you have the time&passion.
    Another big+ is accessibility with SCSI2SD and reading WAV’s or loading whole vintage emax banks…
    Making this beasts too popular though is not what we want. Obviously 🙄
    Great demo!!

    Hey man been watching your videos for inspo! I want to pick up on of these older samples but which one between the emu e5000 and akai s1000/11000/3000 would you recommend? I’d like to be able to sample directly in and do a lot of pitch and time stretching and chopping. Mostly for ambient dnb but I’ll probably use it for Lofi as well.

    • @TheBizzyBScience
      @TheBizzyBScience  2 месяца назад +1

      The emu has a more modern dnb sound, for old skool 1991 - 1995 s3000XL is more user friendly or s3200xl is fully loaded

    Bizzy, I've had a E6400 Ultra for a couple of years now, I love it, but for one thing, can I load an entire folders worth of samples in one go? Loading dozens separately to try and make a preset is well tedious. I've never been able to figure out if I could just dump them into empty sample slots automatically.

      i got both of these ultras. they are the same, except e5000 has 4x audio outputs versus 8x on the e6400. also there is a difference in the the stock screen's coloring. if 4 audio outputs is enuff for you, go with the e5000 obviously.
