I did contemplate a lot about the question if there is such thing as a free will. The more I thought about it, the more I believed there is no such thing and I also believe that through Meditation we can observe there is no such thing as a Free Will. Let roll it back to the Fundamentals: All there is, is Pure/Infinite Consciousness, given that it is Infinite, it will play out everything possible, so there is no choice, there is just playing every possible drama that there is - But I could be wrong. (:
It is indeed a very naughty philosophical question. When we are animal-like, there is almost zero free will, but as we grow into the godhood we acquire free will and endless creativity. The freedom to act is a divine attribute. And a human being is somewhere in between hard conditioning of the instinctive nature and this divine unfathomable creativity.
Thanks for a great video, dada. I get very confused by the teachings of simply observing which you mention as sowing no seeds. Is this always applicable? Example : Someone is hitting a child. I see this and have a reaction in my body to stop this. Do I act on this desire? If I don't my mind tortures me about what I should have done. Should I stop this action which seems 'bad' to 'me'? Is this my ego? Should I observe circumstances where I feel that injustice is being done? You mention, the vritti of 'vivek' in the Anahata chakra video. Does that not talk to us and tell us to do certain things? Do we listen to it? Or is it the ego which is speaking? Sorry for so many questions. But this has been a life long debate point in my mind. I would be very much grateful for a reply. Thanks so much :)
Well this happend to me also, but in my case i dated a girl and she was stalked by her "husband" in few moments he arrived neer us i din't knew she had a boyfriend or husband... he asked me gently were do i know this woman.. thining happend so fast i was frozen din't expect a date to a movie go this way...in next seconds he allready spitted in her face and started to drop a few face palms to the lady...this din't stop here... HER LUCK was that neer us was a gym class and a boy from there just seen all the story from there and manage to pull the bear from her car.... in 5 minutes i was in the train station (in my mind i was only thinking that a boy camed to rescue her... but now im thinking i was stupid to meat her) so she called me in seconds telling me her ex boyfriend mad has gone.. and now we can meet . But to answer sincere to your question it depends on many circumstances ,a beat to a child its not that bad like a lifeover education from his parents.

I agree that our responses can be controlled but only if we are thought to do so which is out of our control that if someone or something crosses our path and teaches us to do so. We dont control that so it seems that it is predetermined to me?

Dada, could you please clarify the 'doing meditation to remove the agitation' part? I didn't really understand it. Are you saying that when we meditate, we try to forget our agitation by focusing on the mantra, and in this way, the agitation gets removed, and then life speeds up? I didn't understand this. What do you mean? Please excuse my confusion. I appreciate all you do. Thank you so much. 🙏

Namaskar, actually it is we who are responsible for our own samskaras (reactive actions), not Parama Purusa.
