    Honestly, awful parenting is what lead to this.     I would imagine this isn't all too uncommon for a lot of women on social media. Men may have their own stalkers to deal with, but lets face it, women are the ones that get the creeps willing to do this. First sign you or anyone you know gets of someone getting a little too close or too obsessed with you, do not hesitate to contact police or the proper authority about this.
