I'm so happy I found your channel! You make great content, thank you. This is a great list. I have read a handful of these recommendations and have a few on my shelf waiting to be read, including Slewfoot. I can't wait to read it!!! I was waiting to start it until closer to Samhain. I felt like those vibes would line up rather nicely! Thanks again 😊✨❤
Ooooooooo I would LOVE to hear your thoughts after you read it. I really liked the earth-centered practices in the story, so that plus the creepier elements would make it perfect for Samhain! 🎃🖤 Thanks for watching, love!
Love these recommendations! LOVED Circe - so good! LOVE Heal the Witch Wound and everything that Celeste Larsen puts into the world, as well as Pam Grossman (three cheers for The WitchWave Podcast!) I also listened to Women Who Run with the Wolves on audio and it was definitely a lecture based on the book - I would like to read the actual book someday. I've read Alice Hoffman's other books in the Practical Magic saga (Rules of Magic and Magic Lessons) and actually like those books better, but I agree with you that the movie Practical Magic is [chef's kiss]! A couple of other fun witchy reads I listened to recently were both by Willa Reece: Wildwood Whispers and Wildwood Magic, a mix of Appalachian folk magic and fight the patriarchy that I really enjoyed. I CAN"T WAIT to read Slewfoot based on your recommendation - thanks!
Ok, I’m glad you mentioned the other books in the Practical Magic saga, because I’ve heard good things but wasn’t sure it would be worth it to read. But you liked them better? Would you recommend I check them out??? And thanks for your other reccs, I can’t wait to add them to my holds list! Definitely read Slewfoot, it is just *😘🤌🏻* for this time of year! 🖤🖤
Great recommendations, my new witchy BFF! I laughed at the Greek mythology to witchy pipeline, am currently wearing a "Wouldst Thou Like to Live Deliciously" t-shirt, and just put "Slewfoot" on hold at my local library. Thanks and loved the video!
Thank you for these recommendations! I’m currently reading “Hester” by Laurie Albanese and I think you’d like it! I love it so far:)
