The things that would stress most people out greatly is like no big deal to you all! John is probably the most laid back Dad ever in the midst of change, even, leaking bathroom fixtures! What a blessing that he knows how to repair it like it's no big deal and seems to do everything without complaint. Ya'll are a Godly example of patience, goodness, gentleness, etc Alyssa, you are just as tolerant and patient through your pregnancy and all of the "Mom" things!
Your pup is in a wonderful 🏡 home!! Our kids were blessed huge by loving a dog(s). Sending hugs and prayers from MO to Ya'll.
It's wonderful how knowledgeable John is about home repairs! He's amazing as a dad and husband. Mia is so sweet and the girls will enjoy growing up with her. What I found out is that a dog's age is equivalent to how long they can hold their bladder in hours....for instance if a dog is one month old, then they need to be taken out every hour, 2 months old equals 2 hours, 3 months 3 hours etc. Have fun making new memories that you will all cherish forever.

She is so cute! What a fun addition to your family. My vet told me no more than one bath a month when they are pups, just an FYI. So fun to watch each of your girls with her.
This is the sweetest! I think Mia is one of the most adorable puppies I’ve ever seen. Also, I see such a resemblance between Maci and Alyssa’s brother, Jackson. She’s definitely strong in the Bates genes.

Mia is absolutely adorable. The girl’s’ reaction when they saw her was priceless. 15-30 minutes of waking up and after eating take her out. Always use the same word when training her to use the bathroom. Like say, potty Mia. Always praise her for a job well done, and maybe offer a treat when she does her business where you want her to. These are things that helped me train my 3.
I also trained with treats and excitement upon doing his biz. But for some odd reason, no matter what, for 6 yrs he will wake, go potty #1, come in and eat then immediately go out to do #2. He will t change that routine so it is what it is .

Ours does that too. Like maybe 10 minutes later.
I wish this worked for our puppy. We rescued her when she was 8 weeks and she is now 8 months. Still pees and poops inside everyday. She also bites us constantly so we need to keep her in the crate or a fenced area near her crate. She will constantly bark too. She was a joy for about the first few weeks we had her, but now I regret adopting her. My daughter thinks she changed when she got fixed.
Good on mom for recognizing when puppy needs some space. That will teach the kids boundaries and improve their relationship with the dog
And prevent bites. Even calm dogs will bite If provoked.
Nothing loves as unconditionally as a dog. Not a human, spouse, family or friend. They don't care if your sick, grumpy, cute, having a bad day or rich. They just think you're the greatest thing since sliced bread. They also LOVE to be read to! ❤️❤️

This was so wonderful to see Mia's introduction to her new ohana! I don't know who loves her more, the girls or Alyssa!! How fun would it be for the girls to learn about Mia's breed and how to train her. There's nothing like the unconditional love of a dog! Congratulations Webster ohana!💗

my daughter has had dogs for years and crate training is the way to go. No surprises when you go out or at night. Just an idea.

Flea treatments an heartworm monthly treatments are mandatory for dogs. My husband was a veterinarian in Longwood for many years. So glad to see you are bathing Mia and training her. You are off to a wonderful start.🙂
And don’t forget the toe nails! My breeder told me start with one paw a day and work up to doing all four paws over time. This gets them used to having their nails trimmed on a regular basis
heart-worm I understand because of the damage it does if the dogs gets it - I have not flea treated mine in 8 years (I don't have cats so no fleas and my vet approves) but a tick treatment in the USA and Australia is important you don't want the dog having a tick problem as this is very dangerous for their health and an expensive vets bill and the dog may not survive

We always used to play with our puppers feet when she laid on us to get her used to her feet being " messed with ".
