  • If you have problems with outlines not aligning with your design chances are it is caused by the pull of the stitching. Depending on the design, increasing the pull compensation may not be enough to fix the problem. In this video I show you what to do. I also cover a few other digitizing tips. These all apply no matter what version of the Bernina Designer Plus software you are using.

Your bunny is so adorable! It looked like velvet at first. Very nice video and explanation.

Hi Carina, I have made a video which I think fulfils your request. You can find it here. ruclips.net/video/MX9xuE2UlJE/видео.html

Did you do a video on digitizing the bunny? This video (and the one that follows this one) are the two most helpful v9 videos I've seen. I know most of the software buttons, but trying to digitize a small dog logo for a local coffee shop is proving to be more difficult than I thought! The clipart is very similar to this bunny. I've applied several things that I learned here, but I would like to watch the process from the top. I have looked at a couple of your Zoom meetings too, but I haven't see this particular design. If you have a video (here, or on Podia), I would be interested in watching the process!

I haven't done the bunny as a complete process, but can do. I will let you know when it is done. In the meantime, if you haven't watched the frog videos, they might help a bit. Part 1 of 3 is here. ruclips.net/video/iOy_K0CBLn8/видео.html Thanks for your purchases from my website. It all helps me to keep going.

@@CarolUndy Yes ma'am! I enjoy them. I'm not very fluent in Corel, so those Zoom lessons were just what I needed.

Thank you Carol for that video.
Pull compensation is a good thing to know about. I notice that in pull compensation in a design is to do with stitch direction when the outline is out and does not meet up with stitches. Is that correct.
    Regards
    Caroline

Exactly. Of course proper stabilisation is important, and test sew on the same fabric you intend to use. The larger the object the more pull there will be.

Caroline I have an old video here which talks about pull compensation. It may help you understand. I have V9 running and will be opening some courses on that soon. Cheers Carol
