When he was up for re-election during the pandemic, I was hoping that the woman running against him would win because I kept getting TERRIBLE cards for him. But cards for her were lackluster. He won by a landslide (75% or more voted him back in). Unlike most Republicans, he did take the pandemic seriously, but in the end he caved to the pressure of denying the illness while secretly making sure resources were getting to the people. It's why he won, really. (Don't think of him as a nice guy, though. He's a greedy MF who wants to amass even more money, and he'll do anything to achieve that goal - thus the terrible cards - they were about his corruption.) Note: only 40% of eligible voters in North Dakota actually vote. On the western side of the state, 95% vote, but on the eastern side (especially the larger population towns of Fargo and Grand Forks), only 40% of the people vote. They have been disenfranchised for decades now and no longer bother voting. If anybody knows some resources to encourage voters in North Dakota to go out and vote, please provide them! This state doesn't have a lot of people in it, so you don't have to convince millions to vote, just a few thousand, and suddenly you could have a whole new state go blue! Just saying. The week before he announced he was running for president, I did tarot cards for him and it showed he obviously wasn't going to be president, but they showed he would get the attention of the GOP/RNC in some way, and they would think him a reasonable leader or alternative or something they thought they wanted, but there also was this, "Yeah, but I don't want him," kind of thing in the cards, too. The stars showed the announcement he was making that day. I then looked up the time around the election, and he seemed to have some kind of opportunity to speak to a larger audience. That's when I wondered if he might have some larger role like VP or head of the RNC or something.
