Laravel is a PHP framework that promises many things out of the box. This is one of the fantastic frameworks to work in this 2023 year. So I have told you why you learn PHP and Laravel in 2023.
Before knowing why use Laravel one should know what is Laravel. Laravel is exactly what the term “framework” implies. It was released in 2011 as an open-source framework for developing web applications based on the model-view-controller (MVC) architectural pattern. Laravel has brought a variety of benefits to the table and has steadily gained traction since then. Laravel is the most widely recognised PHP framework among GitHub users as of today, 2020, with 60k+ stars. Meanwhile, Symfony, the second most popular PHP framework, has only a third as many stars despite being released four years earlier. Not to mention CodeIgniter, whose repository has only been starred 18k times, and other PHP frameworks that are becoming less popular. Thus, Laravel’s current status suggests that it has evolved a lot.

PHP is not slow. PHP 7.x onwards are faster than Python. The languages you mentioned Python, JavaScript and Java as better for modern programming. That's not true. All these languages are in use since 1990s.

Is laravel and next js is good combination?
I have learnt laravel and now next js but now i came to know that if we learn react native we can build apps too but, would laravel is good choice for react native and if in future if we make website and connect them. Because there are more technologies for apps backend and apis im so much confused
Laravel is a very strong MVC-based framework. You can for sure use it as an API-backend for ReactNative, React or Flutter.

That's why i prefer laravel for smaller + intermediate (medium) scale projects...
Laravel is not stable because of it's features packed nature and too frequent update with drastically changes that can cause you rewrite code over the period of time
