Sky had absolutely zero dance experience so what she was doing on the show was incredible!! She is a professional skateboarder. There are videos of her on youtube at 8 years old competing in competitions with adults and actually doing really well. She is also a surfer, but i'm not sure if she does that competitively.
That's not true.
I really like her and I'm happy she won. But she did have a little bit of recreational dance experience.

JT was also mini male best dancer at TDA last year
Sky didn't dance before but I think her skateboarding and surfing background definitely help because she's used to pushing to learn. She was definitely one of my favorites. If they do the show again, I want to see her little brother Ocean on there to get more of her family. There were valid reasons for anyone in the final to win but she was my frontrunner from early on. I learned a second language (mostly) at a young age but I couldn't imagine learning a new skill in that second language then figuring out in my first language and performing it. With the adults or not juniors, I love when it brings out dancing skills in someone who didn't know they had them but came on the show to have fun and just learn something (while they are paid).

She had no absolute dancing experience before, I guess her skate muscles makes her very strong to do all these tricks, idk but she's amazing! Also there is her final dance of her that you can watch on dancing with the stars channel, cause sadly her freestyle wasn't include in that video. She is known from skateboarding competition and she's already been interviewed on a live tv show.

She deserved that victory a hundred percent! Everybody wanted Mackenzie and sage to win but I think it would have been unfair because Mackenzie danced her whole life and the other stars didn’t! Even if I love them so much I’m glad they didn’t win 😊

nehomi v I know, people are like “SHUT UP SHE HAS NEVER DONE BALLROOM” but she got all the basics, the moves, how to count, and is an incredible dancer even if she has never done ballroom, she is a dancer and it was unfair for the other kids who have never danced in their whole life because she started with a huge advantage, let’s be honest!
I love her so much but she shouldn’t have done this show because this is about stars who have never took dance class or never danced!

Mathilde Elliana, she was on the same show that Mackenzie was on and kept dancing. I really don’t think its that unfair. she didn’t win anyways! (Sorry if that came off as rude, i would never intentionally do that)❤️ and you can have your own opinion, this is just mine.
Naw thank you for doing my suggestion! Sky and JT were so cute and had amazing facials, and I'm fairly sure she was the only finalist without any prior dance experience. I'm so glad she won (even tho I'm a miles and rylee stan- you should totally react to them too)!

I fell in love with these two! I love McKenzie as well and followed her journey since she was little but it’s nice to see the kid who won is someone without experience. I know people can defend Kenzie say that it’s different because she didn’t have ballroom experience but let’s face it having years and years of competitive dance and training under her belt is obviously a huge advantage to someone who has no dance training or very little. I thought it was great for Kenzie to be on the show because she got to promote her self and I see a huge difference in her talent since she was little. That being said I’m happy that this little team won.
Sky did have no dance experience. Unfortunately they forgot to add 1 more dance, it was the 2nd finale dance where Sky and JT actually did win the trophy.

Also it was on so you think you can dance kids and made it to the finals... he’s so precious but honestly sky and it together made me cry like every single time I’m pretty sure... the first time she asked if she could say something and said something like “to all the little girls out there don’t be afraid and do things because you want to and don’t let anything stop you!!! “ I honestly died when she said that lol it is so cute and talented that they were the literal perfect match... she embodies what the show is supposed to be about so I’m glad she won even though Kenzie slayed the shit out of the show and still grew as a dancer

Skys fame is basically just skateboarding & surfing, she has been on various tv shows around the world. Also, she was the first woman to do a 720° on a skateboard. Even though she's only 10 years old!!! Oh, and she is from Miyazaki, Japan & wants to compete in the 2020 Olympics

I was looking forward to your reactions to them in those pink outfits. That was just so darn adorable. I would love to see more of them both in the future. It really is amazing how these kids can be so talented and learn so quickly like that. That sure wasn't me!!!😂😂
I think that you have the same reaction as everyone when we saw Sky for the first time, it's like "aaaawww, the smile...". ^^
If no one has said, JT was first seen on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, when he was 10 (He's 12 here). JT's put his two years since then to good use. He really struggled with Ballroom on DWTS. He came in second on that show. These two were the cutest couple.

Sky’s skateboarding videos and short portrait documentaries online went viral, because she is so talented. She is incredibly determined and worked her little butt off for the show. You can tell when watching the little behind the scenes clips they show before the dances. Her coach was also amazing in teaching her very well. Of course, she is athletically very gifted, making her naturally good at most sports. I really hope she continues dancing since she seems to enjoy it so much and clearly has the talent for it.
JT was a finalist in SYTYCD junior when he was so tiny. He was amazing there and kept working hard and improving so much.
I was so happy they were teamed up since I already knew them both and they seemed to have the same cheeky grin, determination, and gist for life. They worked amazing together as a duo.

JT was in So You Think You Can Dance Season 13 and he was incredible!! His performances were beyond words. I would highly recommend you check them out!

Sky only danced for fun before the show and never took lessons but she’s an athlete so that should help

Ariana had very limited dance experience before but she was in a few comps ( it was mostly acro)
and she’s an actress
Also this is how filming worked i think:
They had a week to reverse and then did the first dance
They then had 4 days to reherse then next day they did dance 2 and then the day after that dance 3 then by law got a 1 day break ( this is why we can see Hudson who was eliminated in week 2 week 3 dance)
Then the same for week 4 and 5
Then the same for week 6 and 7
And then semifinals
And then finals

BTW, curious: Have you taken the time to check out any of his performances on DWTS? He killed it when he was dancing with an adult. Some of the ones when he danced with the other kids didn't come out so well, but he killed it otherwise. The boy who won did much better with the mutual kid dances, and that's why he won, I believe. Still, JT is worth watching. Not bad for the youngest ever DWTS contestant. LOL. In case you haven't figured it out, I'm a huge JT fan. LMAO.

You should react to the duo dance with sky,jt,ariana,and artyon
I'm guessing her talents as an amazing skateboarder were able to translate over to dance. Skill like balance and timing. It's was probably why she was able to pick up all these tricks and such. And I'm not trying to undermine her. She has NO dance experience. She's amazing. If she wanted to be a professional dancer she could. But girl has her eyes on the Olympics. Tokyo 2020. I can't find the age qualification for skateboarding. I do know different sports have different age qualification. And since this is skateboarderings first year. Who knows. The youngest competitors in the winter games this year were 15. But once again different sports different rules, who knows. I wish her luck.

In a video before DWTS when she have 8 or 9 years old, she said that she do dance class, but I think it's a small experience. (I mean, she doe's a round off back hand spring with heels at week 2, so, if she have never do dance or gymnastic class before, she's a prodigy lol...)
But she still really good and I think she have a gift for dance and stage :) she was my favorite!

She was on Ellen and little big shots. No dance experience before this BUT she is tenacious and JT is the most precise dancer I've ever seen. Look up his mirror dance.
She can already do like handsprings and stuff and that'll take me years to get. Also, they won!!

Sky Brown is the youngest skateboarder in the world at 10 years old but shes been a pro since 8. She surfs too. I love her to death she is awesome. And I totally voted for her on DWTS Juniors. She is such a ray of light, she deserved to win.

I heard of sky and her brother Ocean when she was 6 and he was 4 and they were ripping at the skate park and little Jt Church I heard of from SYTYCD next generation. I used to skate when I was younger,so I was with Sky's team since day 1 and was so happy when they won. They completely deserve it.
The thing is most of the dancers aren’t supposed to have dance experience as the main kid or be very popular that’s probably why Mackenzie did not win same with Ariana greenblatt.

I love your channel! The more l watch it the better l like it! So JT was on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE KIDS. His Pro partner was Robert who l adore but l'll be darned if l can remember his last name right now. They didn't win but they did amazing in the competition. Sky came on the show with no dance experience whatsoever. They were my faves, l already loved JT from SYTYCD, and when he came on with Sky they blew me away! Great video as always. I'm sitting here by myself at 5:25 am the apt. is quiet and l feel like we just had a conversation about these 2 little stars! Nice talkin to ya! 😜😳😂
