This is absolutely incredible. I just found out about Vance, and I am so grateful. Thanks for posting. The engineer in me wants to know, is that a Neumann TLM 103 or 102? The performance and sound is stunning!!
I like them both a lot. But I honestly would have NEVER heard this song if it wasn't for nogla, and my life is better because of it. I absolutely love the original, and Vance Joy is amazing. But Nogla's cover is right up there with this for me. This version feels more technical, which technically makes it "better" but Nogla's I felt a little more of the emotion coming through. (which this version already has an extreme amount of emotion coming through too.)
He could've bent the song a little bit since it is an acoustic version, but he sang it exactly like the album version. But still great, well, experience will teach him.
