Anti-Siege Any Base: Spiderlegging and Cat Ears (Rust Building)

- Spiderlegging. Something many builders overlook when implementing anti-siege is that raiders can just place two squares off of your external after breaking your external TC and place a new TC on your old building blocks, which lets them build and push into your compound.

A little off topic....whats the objective differnce or any real differences for that mater between all these anti siege tcs youtubers are putting on bases vs good ol disconectable tcs? Both prevent ppl from sealing if they raid you or griefing....not sure whats the differnces....😢

Can someone explain cause I'm so confused, I've never seen someone try to build a tc like that on the back of the external. What does it do?

What does "sieging" do. why would raiders try and place a tc back in its original place or 2 squares of instead of make a triangle off the side (tc grief)
because if you get control of your targets external, you basically own portion of his base, any shotgun traps will kill him and its 100% that if he wants to get his base back, he will need to raid it back, cuz placing tc out of his zone doesn't really do anything if you have full compound and finished base

if they splash the back two walls there will be less stability for the twig squares

Unless you have 500h you make this automaticaly lol or just overlap externals by other externals

It’s easy to get more coverage on the anti seige, u don’t need to do any of this really.
Very useful for smaller anti siege bases where expanding coverage on anti siege makes ur compound awkward. With this you can have good anti siege coverage and a normal looking compound.

@@vaneRUST you could aim upper right side and break only 2 of the spiderlegs, then place triangles instead of squares
@@mouse_tube6456 yes but youd have to door raid the external, and then do that. and thats IF they know the base is anti siege. not likely at all in an online
