I hope they remove the other model, bc it's just going to get very comfusing when the person gets to buy the tablet and sees the other one that is very similar. I would rather have this model than the original one

Finally!! I think you're the first to review this new model. I just bought this and couldn't find anyone talking about it while I was searching tablets. Saw a lot of positive reviews about the 2018 model so I just took the plunge and assumed this is an "ungraded version". Excited to try it out.
How has experience with it over a month been bro? Do you recommend it? Quality?
@@negro2011 Pretty great tablet, works great so far. Programming express keys is hard at first, but simple once you understand. Dial button is meh, zooms in and out great, it’s the button to switch options I don’t like. Due to it working on windows now, instead of switching for zoom to scroll up and down, instead it messing with zoom, volume, and the other option scroll, doesn’t do anything. I’m going to try re programming the dial and update you if I can change that. Other than that it’s okay, sometimes the lines will start off with a random dot, but unplugging and replugging the tablet fixes it, it’s quite rare and just happened only twice after 3 months.

my gaomono m10k is coming in about two days, so i've just been searching far and wide for reviews of it bc im so excited lol (my tablet broke so i've been unable to do digital art for a few days ,,) and for some reason this wasn't even recommended to me in the search results ?

What program is this?
Apologies for the zombie-necro late post. Newly sub'd. I find myself asking if you've done any vids where you slow down and explain one or two of the techniques that you're employing (well - you seem to be employing thousands, so - yeah, just one or two?). That's rhetorical - not an actual question for you to bother with - If it's in your portfolio/vid-collection I will find it.
Some of the sweeping gestures, such as when you lightened the face and neck skin - gave the impression that you were employing layers, quickly shifting between them (I've basic experience with layers etc.. doing RPG tweaks & mods in another life). I do recall that if one is semi-smart with layers, one can avoid a few headaches, blah blah bla.. heh.. e.g. sweeping a brush over the image, magically affecting specific portions of the work (without bothering with selections, etc..).

I think you're fantastic. Not only for your speed abilities of course... you imbue your work with .. _LIFE_ and ... PERSONALITY - by the truckload (which is far superior to.. the bucket-load, e.g.). I really could avoid sleep for days just catching up with your vids. Thank you again.
I'm glad you like the M10K Pro. Wondering how you feel the M1230 stacks up against it (plz don't feel obliged to respond to the zombie-necro guy... perhaps you'll offer an opinion on that down the line, or have done..). Seems like the main difference, other than dimensions, is the lack of the dial on the m1230, but the addition of a plethora of added softkey/buttons for PFkeys, etc... which can actually become too numerous for the likes of sleep-deprived-zombienecro-types. Something about the 1230 that is appealing nevertheless, and it's nothing to do with "plethoras"

It was a funny moment though, and never do I hear the word "plethora" without picturing the bandit El Guapo, condascending to his lieutenant, Jaime. I do lol, for real - (see "Romancing the Stone", latter 20th century)

Hi! I loved your review :)) i'm looking to buy a drawing tablet as i previously used the drawing app on a windows surface that my school gave me (i had to give it back RIP). I originally wanted to buy a screen tablet since that is what i'm used to so i was wondering whether you had any recommendations/ tips or whether a screen tablet wouldn't be too different from a normal one (or whether a normal tablet would be hard to adjust to) like the one you reviewed since i really liked the tablet you used and it's affordable which is what i'm looking for
hi, thanks! no matter what tablet you get, it will probably be difficult to adjust to at first. Traditional artists might have an easier time with screen tablets, since it's more like drawing directly on a page. I personally prefer regular tablets (without screens), but either way, it will take some time to get used to.
I just got this tablet my chromebook dnt work with it can you recommend a laptop that does work with the gaomon
(almost) any laptop that can run windows or macOS can work with the tablet. however most of them are hella expensive compared to chromebook so if it cant fit into your budget then u may need to save up lol

yes i do! foundation classes for freshman are very work-intensive (or maybe it just seemed that way because i was getting used to the crazy workload) so make sure youre managing your time! seriously, the amount of time you'll have to spend on assignments is no joke. especially for animation!
ive really liked almost all my professors. you wont vibe with everyone, but every professor here is very qualified and most of them go above and beyond for their students in my experience. good luck, you're going to learn a lot!
