My friends love to poke fun at my olfactory senses and will dine out numerous times on phrases I use to describe scents. The stories usually start with "Oh my God, can you smell that?" 🤣 Even if I wanted to venture out to stores this year I'm unable to, but I'm confidently choosing unknown scents to purchase online based on your vids and descriptions! You've described scents that I have in the same way I smell them - same notes, same cold to burn smell, throw, etc. You are my candle spirit animal! B&BW 3 wick candles have become a traditional part of my gift giving to certain family and friends who are candle aficionados. Great info! My friend & I are getting to the store @4:30am (5am opening) for our very first in store candle sale experience! Winter is my absolute favorite scent! Last year & this year,I bought the candle,6 wallflowers,3 of the room sprays,& 3 of the car scents...all in the “Winter” scent. Great throw & burns pretty evenly,imo.

I know. I always see people with their masks down inside the store too. I think the reason they don't do it longer online is because all the product and the infrastructure is set up to sell a lot in stores. I think they are simply not equipped for a huge order volume that 3 days of online Candle Day would bring. Remember how the ship dates were out like 2-3 weeks during lockdown when all the stores were closed. You'd think a big corporation like BBW would be able to handle the volume, but apparently not so.

Pumpkin Snickerdoodle is one of my most favorites. There is something slightly nutty smelling about it. I smell the same cookie note on that and Peppermint Sugar Cookie and I like it!

I was in the store last night and checked out the twenties 3 wick under the table lol. I thought they all smelled nice but I won't be buying them on candle day. They had black cherry merlot, peach bellini, black tie, and the rum one too. The packaging looked like the soaps.
I'm not going into the stores either. Like you said nothing is popping out at me. I may do an online order. Get my husband a couple of sweater weather, 1 sweet cranberry pie and a couple of pomegranate lemonade. I enjoyed that one again this summer. Thanks for the video

I have to tell you...I bought Peach on Earth after watching one of your videos. I think you had not burned it yet, so you did not know of the garbage bag peach smell. Luckily I love mine! I must have gotten one from a good batch.
You're welcome! And yea, there was talk that this was it for holiday floor sets for the year. There's usually at least another one before Christmas but I guess they really scaled back this year because of COVID? Nothing but repackages :(
Check out online this year was surprisingly easy. I had my chart filled out and at 6am yes, things were slow and crashed on me 2x but it only took me about 15 min and I was able to get everything I wanted. Last year I had to do it online as I had just had surgery 3 days before and there was no way I was lugging candles around. It was a hot mess, took me an hour and a half to check out and things sold out while I was waiting to check out. Much more painless this year.
I have shopped candle day for years and this honestly was the worst experience. The site kept crashing so I missed all of the online exclusives that i wanted
You think so? I had Autumn Day and I think that one's so much more earthy and has a darker fig fruit note. I find Lakeside Morning to be much brighter!

Not in-stores only. Like last year they had Blueberry Sugared Donut & Cereal Marshmallow Bar as new fragrances for Candle Day but it was available both online and in-stores. They have online exclusives but rarely have in-store exclusives. Candles like those tend to sell out extremely fast online though, so in some ways, the only way to get them is in stores.

It does have a bit of a sweet smell to it but not over powering. It has a mix of marshmallow with a pine smell. It’s my favorite candle of the whole season
I really enjoyed pumpkin bonfire...buuut the first month or so that i had it i really did not like it much but i started burning it again before thanksgiving and i was totally glad that i never took it back to exchange it and i really enjoyed burning it! its funny how our tastes change like before i never even looked twice at cranberry woods and now i really enjoy it and i was one of those that LOVED mahogany teakwood and now it makes me gag and i wish they would stop repackaging it !
Did you and tmr2886 work together? Her title is the same? Ima try to be good this candle day/s ima try to stay with in 18 plus my adjustment. My store has never done this limit prior ive gotten as many as 32 and gone back but this year I feel they may do the limit though due to our current situation. I have so many but id like a few storybook repeats. And if i can find pecan pie and deleche repeats. If nothing elese i will het 6 plus two expensive just for later exchanges.

Not at all! Acorn Lane has a distinctly nuttier fragrance similar to Chestnut & Clove. The Perfect Christmas is overall much sweeter with a prominent red hot cinnamon fragrance and vanilla fragrance.
What happens to the fall scented candles when they change floor sets, for example when the Christmas set comes out? Do they get back stocked or sent back to warehouse or do they actually sell out?
It depends on the store, I believe. Larger stores that have the backroom space for it might box it up and bring it back out for events like Semi-Annual Sale. Smaller stores might send them to outlets. The store I went to is so large that they still have room for fall candles to be out at the same time as holiday.

Welcome to my channel! Paris Cafe at BBW is by far the strongest candle I own from them. I can smell it without it being lit and fills the entire house. Marshmallow Fireside USED to be strong but they have completely destroyed the fragrance on that in recent years. Vanilla Bean Noel has always been notorious for having no throw whatsoever!
@@emilydavis4225 I bought both as I love rose but both have very light throw. There is no smell unless I bend over and sniff. The mist is so good but the candles so disappointing. Maybe I got a bad batch. I bought them on sale just few weeks ago

Last year BBW had a pre-sale online for VIP members exclusive. And if you don't have the app/rewards program you're left out so at 6 am when the sale starts, all the good ones are already sold out. The reward program seems great but but why it isn't for all and everyone of their loyal customers...I can't understand! So I don't do Candle Day anymore since it's not working out for me as an online shopper.
Tis the Season reminds me of Glade Apple Cinnamon cone twist up air freshener that you buy for 99 cents. Alternatively it reminds me of urinal deodorizer.

Check out online this year was surprisingly easy. I had my chart filled out and at 6am yes, things were slow and crashed on me 2x but it only took me about 15 min and I was able to get everything I wanted. Last year I had to do it online as I had just had surgery 3 days before and there was no way I was lugging candles around. It was a hot mess, took me an hour and a half to check out and things sold out while I was waiting to check out. Much more painless this year.

You think so? I had Autumn Day and I think that one's so much more earthy and has a darker fig fruit note. I find Lakeside Morning to be much brighter!

Thank you for this amazing thorough video! Are there ever exclusive scents in stores only? Not old scents they put out for candle day but new ones like they do for online exclusives?
Not in-stores only. Like last year they had Blueberry Sugared Donut & Cereal Marshmallow Bar as new fragrances for Candle Day but it was available both online and in-stores. They have online exclusives but rarely have in-store exclusives. Candles like those tend to sell out extremely fast online though, so in some ways, the only way to get them is in stores.

It does have a bit of a sweet smell to it but not over powering. It has a mix of marshmallow with a pine smell. It’s my favorite candle of the whole season

I really enjoyed pumpkin bonfire...buuut the first month or so that i had it i really did not like it much but i started burning it again before thanksgiving and i was totally glad that i never took it back to exchange it and i really enjoyed burning it! its funny how our tastes change like before i never even looked twice at cranberry woods and now i really enjoy it and i was one of those that LOVED mahogany teakwood and now it makes me gag and i wish they would stop repackaging it !

Did you and tmr2886 work together? Her title is the same? Ima try to be good this candle day/s ima try to stay with in 18 plus my adjustment. My store has never done this limit prior ive gotten as many as 32 and gone back but this year I feel they may do the limit though due to our current situation. I have so many but id like a few storybook repeats. And if i can find pecan pie and deleche repeats. If nothing elese i will het 6 plus two expensive just for later exchanges.

Not at all! Acorn Lane has a distinctly nuttier fragrance similar to Chestnut & Clove. The Perfect Christmas is overall much sweeter with a prominent red hot cinnamon fragrance and vanilla fragrance.

What happens to the fall scented candles when they change floor sets, for example when the Christmas set comes out? Do they get back stocked or sent back to warehouse or do they actually sell out?
It depends on the store, I believe. Larger stores that have the backroom space for it might box it up and bring it back out for events like Semi-Annual Sale. Smaller stores might send them to outlets. The store I went to is so large that they still have room for fall candles to be out at the same time as holiday.

Welcome to my channel! Paris Cafe at BBW is by far the strongest candle I own from them. I can smell it without it being lit and fills the entire house. Marshmallow Fireside USED to be strong but they have completely destroyed the fragrance on that in recent years. Vanilla Bean Noel has always been notorious for having no throw whatsoever!

Oh darn! I had a whole section about going in early and opening times but I had multiple takes of this video and it was left out of this one. But yes, many stores open around 5-6 am. To check, you want to go on the BBW website. Go to Store Locator and type in your zip code. It well tell you what times the store open for this coming weekend!

The leaked email says to use code CANDLE for the price, so most likely an online code, like usual. So you can only use coupons in-store.

Last year BBW had a pre-sale online for VIP members exclusive. And if you don't have the app/rewards program you're left out so at 6 am when the sale starts, all the good ones are already sold out. The reward program seems great but but why it isn't for all and everyone of their loyal customers...I can't understand! So I don't do Candle Day anymore since it's not working out for me as an online shopper.
