- City saw a two-goal lead wiped out by a resurgent Brighton who recovered to win 3-2.
Joao Cancelo was red carded after just 10 minutes, but goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden looked to have put City on the way to a 13th Premier League away win in succession.
But the Seagulls, buoyed by a passionate home crowd, eventually made the extra man pay with three second-half goals to secure a first top flight victory over City for 40 years.

Being a Defensive midfielder he cannot afford to lose ball, yet he does it almost every game. Also his role is supposed to make great long passes, but I see only sideways (safe) passes. Never mind the loss...with 10 men. Brave decision by Pep to field many of his key players...to keep them sharp n aid in his selection for the CL final. The players of course held back...fearing injury. Not taking anything away from Brighton...they played well n deserve the win.
We were already 2-0 up with 10 men. We should have seen out the game. The mistakes we did in this match are unacceptable and if we do this against Chelsea in the champions league final, we will suffer greatly.
