- Monkey Man is an upcoming action thriller film directed by Dev Patel in his feature directorial debut with a screenplay by Patel, Paul Angunawela and John Collee from a story by Patel. The film stars Patel, Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Sobhita Dhulipala, Sikandar Kher, Vipin Sharma, Ashwini Kalsekar, Adithi Kalkunte, and Makarand Deshpande.
Monkey Man is scheduled to be released in the United States on April 5, 2024, by Universal Pictures.

Every time I see a puppy in a movie trailer like this, I get concerned. If an animal in a movie so much as gets it’s feelings hurt, I can’t handle it.
Me, too. I can watch 19,000 people die bloody death, but ONE dog get hurt? NOPE.
You’ll be very happy with the film then ☺️
Blimey this looks so good. Crazy Netflix have had it since 2021. I love Dev Patel. My favourite of his films is Lion (2016 release), which I can't recommend strongly enough. It's a superb film, for which he was Oscar nominated (and won the BAFTA). Well worth a watch. He was also very good in Hotel Mumbai.

The John Wick movies are really good if you love action, Keanu Reeves plays a great hitman type character. The prequel mini series, The Continental is good too.
