Sorry to break to you but no. What yuqi is doing is not right, it is clear that miyeon gets hurt by this types of comments and it is not a joke to be putting someone down. What yuqi does is straight out rude, she is my bias but she is slowly falling off because of her attitude. I have met and HAD friends like her, they have a huge ego and say "it is how I am and I am just joking" but it does not mean that what she says does not hurt. Funny enough, just a few days ago, I came across a comment in another idol picknic video (Ep 14 clip 2 I think) saying he/she is worried that someone would misunderstood Yuqi playful action as rude. Funny enough, just a few days ago, I came across a comment in another idol picknic video (Ep 14 clip 2 I think) saying he/she is worried that someone would misunderstood Yuqi playful action as rude. Unfortunately, a lot of people did. They need to understand that variety shows loves this kind of interactions and as Seok Jin mentioned in another video, this happen because they are really close.

we all know that the girls are REALLY close to each other, if you watch their vlives and stuff, you'll know. this is how they joke around and for outsiders (like us) it could rub us off in the wrong way but please don't attack any of the members. miyeon once mentioned that yuqi taught her to be more confident of herself y'know that? also, the girls also confront each other when they have issues (like miyu during GDA that miyeon mentioned in vlive previously) and the fact that they can tell us about their fights so openly pretty much shows how genuine they are. anyway, us as fans will never understand their true relationship with each other but one thing is for sure is that they love each other like family.

I mean no doubt they are very close friends but friends can still make mistakes. If they do confront each other, it’s not gonna be on screen so we’re not sure if Miyeon isn’t upset and maybe she actually isn’t. Point is, even people who loves each other so much can still hurt each other. I agree with not attacking members though, they’re most likely not doing it maliciously and are just unaware. I just wanted to clarify that people can still makes mistakes even if they’re super close.

I know they’re just joking, but Miyeon is very creative and talented. There are different kinds of smarts and genius. She’s an amazing artist(good at drawing, analyzing and great musicianship). Plus she trained for 5 years in yg, left to study again and chose to try once more when an opportunity came for her to audtion in Cube. She’s an ambitious and adventurous person. She also bravely choose big life decisions like what she wants to study if she wants to pursue something. She’s an independent person. She’s not afraid to say something if she finds it wrong just like when she talked about fighting with Yuqi in her live with Soojin. It means that when important, she can be objective and use reasoning. She also saw why Yuqi could be upset and properly explained Yuqi’s point of view too. She’s an openminded and sympathetic person. She’s also friendly and naive. Point is, Miyeon’s an amazing person. Anyways i know they’re just joking like always, but the teasing here kinda rubbed me off the wrong way unlike their usual teasing of Miyeon.
