    Middleton Towers, 1984 I was there.. Mark was a great guy.. always (without fail) looked for me in the front row and acknowledged me..

    A lovely tribute to a great organ world star. I fondly remember our BBC Radio Manchester/Radio Cavell 1350AM collaboration with Mark some years ago, little realising that would be the last time I would see him.

    I had the chance to join some of his concerts with Böhm organs. The videos here at youtube reminded me how excellent he played musik in terms of arrangement and speed of play. Outstanding talent. How unfair life can be. So many research had been done to find a way to beat cancer already. Let's hope that there will be something soon against it.
