there's no reason to play the normal 85 when the M is superior in (almost?) every aspect

@@Koneictech tree 85 has slightly better mobility I think. But yeah premium is a way better solution.
As someone eithout the 85M, I still enjoy the tech tree 85 and the VK30.02M. They have good mobility, and so I like to make push plays with them even though their armour is not the best

Back in the days I had to play Pz 38t without gold against tier 8, things have changed...
New players (or returning players) can still get it for free permanently pretty easily through the referral program.
Yeah, sadly I didn’t get to play them because I had no credits for equipment. Didn’t want to handicap my team that way.
The T-34-85 is such a gem to play, IMO the most fun in the line

He's done that with a lot of "best *whatever* tank", like "this tank got the best winrate and is popular but I prefer this one so I will play it instead" (litteraly said that in one of his videos lol)
@@vass7885 Rudy isn't the most popular just has a higher WR. Look at the battles played. Rudy has 14k, T-34-85M has 185K. Big difference

T-34-85M is not a rental tank. You can get it as a recruit once you've completed the referral program.

That was awesome. I like this tank. When I need to recover from a bad round I usually jump in for a whirl or two. Third game was crazy. Nice of them to come one at a time to you. But great shooting.
1:14 it was also obtainable through some rather simple missions in 2016 I think, though at the time it wasn't in it's current buffed state
Whats even more impressiv with the T-34-85M (wich u get as a 14day rental) is that new players dont have a "good" crew or the credits for food.
New players are meant to have New Player Protection, limiting how many experienced players they see to a degree. They always got 100% crews with their rentals though, and still got to obtain crews in Mirney, Christmas and such events. New players also got free 100% crews and 6th sense for free back when 6th sense wasnt free.
When I was recruiting for referals with a few codes, recruits were getting 2000 gold, and a tier 5 and tier 3 premium tank, and premium time, they did Recruit missions, daily missions, boot camp and topology and were also gaining from platooning with me as the commander. It did not take long for new players to get a few crew skills due to the massive bonuses they get as referrals.
Add clan boosters and its even better. So crew wise they get there faster than us old timers did when crews were 50%. One guy I know with under 400 battles has 6 skill commander with a 5 skill crew in a tier 8 premium, and has never spent a cent on the game.
As for food, well doing boot camp and daily missions and having the free premium time as a new player actually lets you try food, I had to remind recruits to turn off auto refill, and all of them were continually rewarded premium fire extinguishers. They get told to save a number of premium consumables, sell them and save the credits to use at the next 50% discount, by reselling the free premium consumables, they in effect get the premium consumables they will use for free. One guy equiped his M44 with Cola for free until elite with a two skill crew.
Its simply difficult for new players as they do not know the savers, shortcuts, and nuances. But here we are now with all crews now 100%

The t34-85m is awesome. It can bounce same tier lights and med. out trade most mediums and lights. Have enough mobility to rush into position and retreat.
There are a LOT of really nice vehicles at tier 6. The Type-64, the T34-85 series (all of them except the tech tree), Cromwell and its variant, M6.
This tank has the same rounds per minute as the 160 alpha damage gun on the standard T-34-85, but with the 180 alpha of the other gun the T-34-85 has

(As a bishop player, cause of the narrow gun arch, you want to relocate based closer to the normal of the line described between you and the bishop’s is shelling position. And no I was not seal clubbing in the balanced bishop)

my favorite tank in the game. I have the reload down to 3.8 seconds, with nearly 3000 dpm. My best xp in it is 2525
I only ever played one game in that monster, I got from a mini-marathon. Had a top gun, win, ace tanker and wn8 at the purples.

Could not agree more on the T-34-85M. It's my most played tank and the main reason my WR is what it is. GOOD tank + GOOD crew + plus playing that tank almost exclusively = decent win-rate.
The T-34-85M is the first tank I was able to 3 mark. it is a beast
What equipment do you use? And is it regular or bond/bounty?

I got this tank for free when i started the game. A mission suddenly popped up to get it. In reality it is just a uparmored t34-85 without any downside. However for me it ties with the Pudel and Bretpanther that have similar armor and mobility which are in comparison very underrated in the community.
Thats cause all Panther variants have bad camo and are big targets. DPM and alpha are lower too. And far worst HE.
@@Paciat DPM isn't bad at all, 2000 base DPM is far from bad for tier 6
Those low and mid tier spgs are really just nasty. The m44 is crazy evil as well.
Been going up the new TD line, I don't think there have been many matches without a leFH on each team.
T-34 (ussr/china) is good and for fun. But when you think of it as being compentitive, they were mostly affected RNG stat in each battle. Sometimes their nimble as cromwell/skoda, sometimes your reload varies from 4 to 5, but most of the time you can't even pen the enemy LT upfront.

my favorite tier 6 is the VK 30.01 (P) with the "88" gun.
I have my best personal stats in T-34-85 which is basically a bit faster and less armored version of this premium tank.
You forgot it has only 1800DPM. ~12% less than the premium tank.
T-34-85M is one of the best and morw confortable tanks to play for me. I love with passion the regular techtree 85, and the 85M is bassically a better version of it. However I still feel more confortable playing the regular techtree one 😊
LOL --- In the last battle when QB tells his Hummel arty to Fall Back, the arty replies: "Go play Barbie" . Too funny!
While not as good, the T-34-85 non-M variant (tech tree) is also fun to play.

I called it in the last video in this series. It's the t34-85m. Next its probably going to be the comet or t20, then the bourr at tier 8, an then tier 9 and 10 are going to be a russian prem or reward tank as well.
QuickyBaby should have a series, the best TECH tree tanks to play.
After that sand river game, I feel a bit less special about my 6k damage in stock BZ-68 last night :D
The T-34-85M is BONKERS good. It has my highest individual winrate, something like 70% vs my overall 55%.
It's ok about the hunter comment.

Got my highest xp in battle in that little fella. 3 257 to be exact. And I got this tank for free years ago in some sort of xp marathon.
@QB - "Burza" means "a storm" in Polish and you should pronounce it as "Boo-ja" (more or less 😂).
My highest dmg at tier 6 ever is in the 85m, 5k dmg. The thing is a absolute monster.
Ye, Bishop is insane. Iirc, it has a better RoF than Bert. Or at least it had. I played it before the big arty buffs, nowadays its probably way more accurate

It is funy that the Rudy benefits its owners more (Win% diff.) than the owners of the T-34-85M, since the latter has better ingame statistics.

Does this version of world of tanks have the t-34-88 I'm a console player an on there it has a 4.4 sec reload 220 alpha 134 standard pen an 171 premium with 7 free exp earn instead of the 5% base on other tanks

I've always said this is the most OP tier 6 premium, and that's a good thing because it's not nearly as busted as the pay to win garbage they sell at tier 8.
Man whenever I play the elc bis I almost always just eat 490 damage from a bishop

When I started world of tanks a year ago, I didn't get my reward for being an army vet, or any tank, just started at teir one
So I've always questioned this. A min-max roll is simply just a quarter of the alpha damage of the gun you have equipped?
I got mine for free back when I started it was some kind of free tank mission set
Before the nerf I got a Kolobanov in my Bishop.
And one game had a Top Gun in the first 3 minutes of the game.
That thing was brutal.
Now with the arty nerf it is not as OP. Just annoying.
I have the T-34-85M and I... don't know how! Is not rental and I have not bought it, WG just gave it to me sometime when I was active in the game and I don't know why!!!
Anyway, I can't seem to make it work, I drive to a position, fire one-two rounds and die! I know is a good tank but maybe I play it way too aggresive!

So what became of Random Events? The only one I am seeing with any rare sort of typicality is Safe Haven. I have not seen the bombers on Prokhorova for ages and I have only seen the crashing Dirigible on Himmelsdork once in the past many weeks. Such a shame. I was really stoked for this new addition to these awful tired old, worn-out old maps. So much for new maps/features. I understand that new maps do not make any money for WG but players that spend on this game getting bored and leaving do not either.

The only downside to this, if you don't have this premium version of the tech tree tank, you are 20% less effective than if you have the premium tank. This one have better hull armor than the tech tree, which makes it worse. If a player that has the tech tree tank gets into the same situation as the 4k+ damage total that QB had, they'll be back at the garage 7 out of 10 times than if they have this tank. But yeah, Type 58/T-34-85. They're the best medium tanks that you can get in the tech tree at tier 6.
Worth it to get the T-34-85M if you already have Rudy?
