Ari wanted the best for everyone. Even Vince, who would always disregard his opinions and his career would suffer for it. Ari makes this show for sure.
when they were doing the casting for this show prior to season one there were rumors that jeremy piven was being offered the part of ari gold but hadnt agreed, ari emmanuel (the real ari gold) called the producer and said either jeremy piven plays me or you can't use my name. and that settled that lol.
@@Aven-Sharma1991 Nah those were legit. Remember the scene earlier when he was on the bed with his son and he asked if he'd still be going to school with his friends? Ari was legit upset there.
watching this scene made me realize how privileged some people are in the world. I used to go to a school 80 kms away because the good ones near my home were too expensive. Its a different world this..
@neilgodfreyy2k no he doesnt he just breaks eye contact wif the principal. his gaze shifts downwards and to the left signifying his embarassment and shame. btw how dare u criticize jeremy piven :)
Say what you want about Ari, but I loved his love for his family, especially his son. That's a real father right there.
At the end of it all, if my children say I was a good daddy then everything else is irrelevant.

Well stated!! Jeremy Pivan has a podcast & addressed this scene which originally was cut. It’s at 4:3:00 m.ruclips.net/video/1unupeBnsVo/видео.html
As a father of 4 there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do to provide for my wife and children. I know this feeling well. The things we do for our families
“Do you ever think you’d be reduced to begging” a great response would be “I’d do anything for my son” ... pride goes before the fall
after the show, Ari Gold still remains one of my favorite characters in a TV show. Jeremy piven kicks ass.

Wow. Jeremy Piven. Incredible acting. He should be in more movies.
Don’t count on it now since he got MeToo’d lol
Never thought I would see Ari cry. Makes him more human.
Jon Baxter: Croc tears.

Homer Simpson is the only soul on this planet that has the power to make Ari's eyes leak
I Killed Tony Soprano woooooah, that's Homer Simpson?
Two fathers who despite all appearances to the outside world will do anything for their family.
I know it's a really big statement but: I think this is my favorite scene from the whole series! Jeremy is amazing!

only Homer Simpson can make Ari Gold beg and cry lol
this scene just shows the complexity of Ari Gold as character in general, LOVE Entourage!!!
Ari gold be like, "all hail king Homer".
The only man Ari Gold could not defeat in LA: toe to toe
Gold starts begging this guy ....GOLD... not lloyd ... not anyone but gold . that's what a real father is right there .
This made me cry.
Trying to cut a deal with Homer Simpson? HA?! Classic.
Now thats a Fcknnn Reaaaaaaaaaaaaal Actor !!
piven is so good, dunno why but its a powerful scene for me
So, the principal CAN be bribed...
Well, the principal suggested it, so it's more of an exchange really.
Wolfmother - Apple Tree
Saying lock the door behind you is probably the rudest thing ever
I've been looking for this scene everywhere! What amazing job Jeremy did!
How can he cry knowing he's standing in front of homer Simpson? Impressive
Fucking Jeremy, insane actor! All the world should see his passion and skill
love this scene
gotta love his signature fist pump at 2:51
See...that's why I couldn't make it as an actor...just cant do it like that...
Can you put up the one he is in Joshua Tree where he is talking with his son over the phone while on shrooms, please?
Im so happy for him!
LOL i could completely see Ari saying something like that aswell.
what episode is this?

Isn't the principle the guy who does Homer Simpson's voice?
Yeah
Great Actor

did preston reject jonah to get his son a job?
this scene always seemed weirdly fast-paced to me
Hes a lier. tv character never change they just reveal different aspects of themselves
JP inspired me to be a sales engineer,
When I get excited I'm gonna use his moves at 2:52
@neilgodfreyy2k He looks at our right-side of the camera actually. Doesn't ruin it at all even if he did to be honest.
How much would anyone be willing to bet on Piven's toupee that these were Croc tears?
DOH!
@neilgodfreyy2k no he doesnt he just breaks eye contact wif the principal. his gaze shifts downwards and to the left signifying his embarassment and shame. btw how dare u criticize jeremy piven :)
It's the gay guy from that married with children episode.
homer simpson
How special ?🤣
When he wipes the tears he looks straight into the camera for a brief second which ruins it
wtf, the audo/video is off, thumbs down
HOMER SIMPSON!!!
