The Emergency Series is defined by its core gameplay element: saving lives. The update pack Emergency 2013 puts the player into the officer-in-charge's role in four brand new rescue missions. The eruption of a supervolcano threatens Europe, and players must fight forest fires, contain toxic gases and calm angry citizens to protect the relief digging sites.
The update package is rounded off by the fire brigade drone - a new unit capable of scouting even the most difficult terrain -- and a new freeplay-map accompanying the main scenario. Emergency 2013 is released today as a downloadable campaign pack on digital distribution platforms (Emergency 2012 or 2012 Deluxe required, 9.99 Euro RRP) and as a full retail version including all content of Emergency 2012 Deluxe (29.99 Euro RRP).
