I hope Jeannie has learned from this: she actually did the same thing to black men ("black meat on the side" fiasco) 🙄

The amount of narrow minded people hating on Asian people online is unreal.

I feel like both is true as well as other aspects of their personality and their lives. I've been watching The CW's new show, Kung Fu, and it has some great representation. The Asian women on the show are beautiful but each of the characters they play are more than what they are. Two are kung fu fighters, and one is very smart and beautiful. And this week's episode showed race-hate with Blacks and Asians and they come together in protest of a police shooting, a side that we've never seen before.

I have been watching it too. The main character is kind of robotic... It kind of reminds me of Sunny from Into the Badlands. Interesting storyline so far. I didn't get to see this week's episode yet!

@@jyn88 I have no idea who that is but I don't think Olivia is robotic

Yes but now we focused on the fetishization of asian women.

Yes! Black women too. I feel like it can be all women in general. It depends on the person's type. Some have a thing for curvy/voluptuous women and some prefer petite like Ariana Grande. I think it comes down to how unhealthy or toxic is this fetish. I don't like how they're singling out Asian women, but I guess it's for awareness?

But we're talking about Asian women right now, please don't do that, Yall hate when other races do it to black people so don't do it to them.

What you say about my mama???... Because I saw Menace and I said wow I’m a gangster... Seriously I said the same thing about Neil DeGrass Tyson. And about the entertainment worlds influence in politics, medicine and social sciences. The whole, you’re not black thing... As for my Eastern family members. It’s no different from anyone else. Just different times. The names have changed but the game remains the same. Fetish’s need to be more normalized, especially in Middle Eastern Culture. The gunman was from out there. Most likely ashamed due to the dehumanizing of self. I remember days me and boys sat around sipping piffin talking about everyone and everything. No one ever said anything like, you’re weird, you’re crazy and such. We were more into learning how to manifest our dreams into reality. Truly heaven. For those who can’t, or feel wrong about a simple public service, this and that happens. Like it’s not as easy to give you a ride. It’s not as fun to receive a happy ending. These are self stereotypes usually. And lastly, the film industry didn’t hire actresses back then, only prostitutes. When US soldiers are deployed anywhere prostitutes are lined up waiting. Not only does it weaken a man’s vigor but it’s money changing hands. Would the Vietnam War been won if it wasn’t for prostitutes. That goes back to Samson and Delilah. The movie is not depicting Asians in a bad light. Only showing us that braun always loses the brains... And the biggest gun or bomb is nothing compared to the bomb Virgin Mary that can take out a whole platoon... And if you bring women from anywhere to this country they will be prostitutes. Not because they are, but this country is... Understanding
