Blur, entrevista con Mondo Sonoro

Me encuentro con Damon Albarn y Graham Coxon en la terraza del hotel barcelonés donde se alojan los miembros de Blur. La excusa es “The Ballad Of Darren” (Warner, 23), su nuevo álbum, pero en realidad la trayectoria del cuarteto que completan Alex James y Dave Rowntree es tan vasta y diversa que eso casi es lo de menos.
Me atienden a la hora de la siesta, con suma cortesía pero con cierta modorra (sobre todo Damon), y eso que su concierto de hoy está previsto para las dos de la mañana. Entonces ya será otra historia: un jubiloso reguero de hits. Como para dormirse.
