Thank you for showing how you mixed the olive colors. No wonder they have such depth of color. I wouldn’t have been able to figure it out on my own. And then the way you layer colors to show dimension is beautiful.

A simple approach, ending up with exquisite colors! This is really beautiful.

The simplicity and subtlety of the colours is really beautiful. My leaves often look muddy and overworked. This is just lovely.

This is so beautiful. I've only worked with graphite until this past month I wanted to journey into watercolor for a very long time but everyone always said how hard it is and I never had time for classes and couldn't really afford them. Your work is beautiful.... Thank you so much for showing your work up close so we can see how you create it and sharing what colors you use. This next week I'm going to try this for myself... It will be my 4th watercolor piece. Have a colorful day : )

Sagan I finished your tutorial... Colors weren't quite the same as I have a limited pallet and had to mix them. I just did a drawing from what I saw here and then painted in the watercolor journal I made. Things I noticed... The chosen paper makes a huge difference. I can now see reasoning for choosing between cold press and hot press and the ability to get greater detail and finer lines. The greatest difficulty I had was in doing the stems. Your's look very realistic and mine well... They need some work... A LOT of work lol. I wish I could see an extremely up close and personal way you make the stems look so realistic. Even though I've only done a few watercolor pictures I am beginning to recognize when I have too much liquid on my brush or not enough... Both result in different effects. When I finished the painting I really thought it looked pretty bad as I looked at yours... However the next morning when I got up and looked at the painting without it sitting next to yours I was quite happy with the outcome. Though the leaves were not exactly the same colors as yours... They still looked like leaves... My little painting looked like an olive branch. I was so happy with it... Wish there was a way I could share it with you too. Thank you again. My son will be away at camp this week so I'm looking forward to getting into another tutorial of yours : )

WOW! You did it!!!!! I think your work doesn't need to be the same as mine.
I really wanna see your Olive Branch....I'll try to find out how we can share your on going project and final outcome :)
Also I'll make more informational videos soon, so you can get some watercolor techniques to help you out.
I'm so happy my video helps you create your artwork!!

This is so lovely. I'm surrounded by olive trees in a place in covid lockdown, so there's really no excuse anymore for me not to be drawing and painting these trees. Thanks so much for sharing this. You obviously understand color very very well. This was perfect.
