If you don't do a lot of stability ball exercises and think this looks easy you are Very mistaken. I tried this the other day and it is ridiculously difficult to hold your balance like he does in this video.
turn the palm (and elbow) outward for the forward roll (end of vid). Also taking your head off the center line, your arm gives more protection to your head and shoulder that way
Drilled parts of this today. Was awesome! Especially the pressure training showed me my weak spots. Thanks for sharing, this will be party of my work out from now on.
When I asked this to Jeff for the article he said that anyone can use a 75, 65 or 55 cm stability ball; the smaller the ball the more difficult it is to perform the movements.
@@RandomStuffByMe ya i already bought 65cm ball. I'm 5'5" and this was a just a little bit big for me. Its good during wrestling type drills but needs more space when i'm rolling along the ball(mayamori). Also makes for a good couch once your balance is good and you feel safer with a ball a bit bigger.
That was a 55 cm stability ball. When I asked this to Jeff for the article he said that anyone can use a 75, 65 or 55 cm stability ball; the smaller the ball the more difficult it is to perform the movements.

the position with your foot on the side might need to be adjusted put your weight over the left foor acording and back keep your left arm in the gate of your legs and your right arm back for balance no offence just sems a little goofy
This is some really tremendous stuff 🙏
Dont try this at home, I just went through my wall.
Did you ever get it repaired, or did you just move? 😄
Lmao!!
Great video. It's good when the person doesn't spend much time talking and actually go straight to the exercises. That's make the video even better
fully agree

What kind of ball is this? I aired the one we have up to full capacity and it's squishing down so much more.
That's awesome. I have not imagine it is possible
very good and excellent post workout too also a good way to simultaneously unwind and still improve your mobility.
Can I also do Leglocktraining on the Ball?
+Paul Harris Yes, but only if you continue to hold long after you tear the ball to shreds.
+Paul Harris Yes you can also do Deadlifts with it for heavy singles.
Only if you a purple belt and above

Anyone know what guard pass he is referring to when he's doing the leg swing hip drop at 7:20?
It's used to pass X-Guard, you throw your free leg over the head. Switch your hips to disentangle the leg in X, and land in Side Control
@@Yattarou thanks mate, that's really helpful!
anyone know the size of that ball?

careful with these when you're 220+. those balls can pop, and it was hilarious!

You got that right. That's the sign of mastery. When you you can take something difficult and make it look easy and effortless.
