My Dad bought one new in 55...same color combo. Then, traded it in on a new 56 Pontiac with a 316V8....took it out to the drag strip and the engine shelled out.
Those coyote engines are just crazy with power. I'd put them up against an LS or Hemi engine any day. They are high rev engines that just deliver. And that car probably weighs 1800 pounds. Thats about 1 horsepower per pound. That's about the equivalent to a Nascar.
