It would be a haul from Vancouver, but I've driven further for a round! And I say the same thing every year about hitting out of town courses. In fact, I make almost the same list every year and then never get around to playing the courses on the list. Mallard Creek has been on my list for 3 years!
@Mike Yup, same with the list! However, going to finally make it down to Bend and play golf while I am there for once! River's Edge and Crosswater have been on my list too long!
Oh, I have gps that I use, just didn't have access to it on this round. I've thought about picking up a laser as a backup, but haven't got around to doing it. My golf swing is really out of sorts right now, so not sure that it saves me more than a stroke or two a round to have GPS. It probably would have been more beneficial playing with someone who had played the course before, but that was also not an option!
Great video Mike!!
Thanks. Fun place to play and now that my game is in a better spot, I'll hit it up again. Worth the drive.
Currently watching in the parking lot of mallard creek an hour before districts
Hope it doesn't screw you up! Good luck today!
@@MikeGolfsOregon back from day one of the tournament with an 80. Lots of room to improve for tomorrow
Added to my list! A little drive Vancouver, WA but I want to try dome new out of town courses.

Something tells me there is a lot of crossover between our lists.
My game really improved once I got a laser and then a GPS watch. It also helped me dial in my club distances.
