Sorry, not 100% sure. As you saw in the video, we are using the hardware configuration method. With hardware configuration, it looks like it is not possible to modify without losing the data from the first RAID1. However, in theory, again not 100% sure as we did not experiment with it, using the software configuration method may be possible to create an additional RAID1 with the 2nd pair of drives. Believing so, because in the software management interface, it allows to create RAID groups and it would make sense allowing such specific control of RAID configurations, per presumption in your question. It is best to probably test with dummy drives and of course, with your data backed up.
The hardware raid mode instructions are confusing, do i put the jumpers to the left and press the button for 3 sec and after that put the jumpers in the raid mode i want and then press the button once again for 3 sec??? The instructions are not very clear on that in my opinion.
The video is not intended to provide instructions per se, as we do not represent the manufacturer. Rather to show what it is like from an experience perspective. It should say clearly on the instructions/manual the manufacturer provided in the box.
Hi, is it ok to connect through Usb hub that goes then to the computer. My Usb hub is powered and has usb 3. Will there be any problems if I do this? (I don't see why it should be a problem) Thank you 😊

Widescreen videos began being made a while after this QNAP video. Widescreen recording is very uncomfortable to create in one shot without mistakes. But sure are trying. Though we are aware people don't like it, IMO vertical recording is much more practical, as it shows exactly what to focus on without other side distractions.
why would you film vertically tho… everything you show is landscape. you also struggle a lot with literarily everything from just installing a basic software to formatting the drives. not really reassuring that you know what you’re doing honestly.
Imi place sa filmez vertical, pentru ca este mai simplu si nu ma doare mana. A fost un video live fara pregatire ori editare, ceea ce a si fost spus la inceput. Daca esti uman, in special cu technologie, mai mult ca sigur vei face greseli cand faci ceva pentru prima data fara instructiuni. Stii, romanii au o atudine proasta de a judeca nejustificat mai tot timpul. Si eu am aceleasi tendinte. Este o chestie pe care o tot incerc sa ii caut radacinile de mult timp cu neamul nostru. Daca nu iti place un video, este mai usor si sanatos sa sari la video-ul urmator! Este axeleasi proces cu patrunjel la piata - nu iti place cum arata, mergi la alt vanzator.
@@Datarecoveryguru1 ah da, scuza ca “daca nu iti place, mergi mai departe” asta am facut dar ghici ce, sunt foarte putine clipuri cu DAS-ul asta. era extrem de frustrant sa vad cum bajbai aiurea in timp ce filmezi ca un parinte care a primit ieri telefon. la fel si discursu asta basit in care faci morala de doi lei. era potential sa faci un clip bun, scopu commentului era in principal sa nu mai faci aceeasi greseala pe viitor. dar corect, merg mai departe, why tf should i care, filmeaza vertical vtm ❤️
@@RaduUrsache Am urmarit video-ul din nou de la A la Z. Este bine facut. Unghiul vertical focuseaza exact pe ce trebuie sa se vada, fara disrupere cu alte rahaturi marginale. In privinta bajbaierii, la sfarsit, software-ul nu este bine creat in a stii pe ce trebuie apasat. Pentru hardware, butonul de pe spate nu are un sticker reflectand ce este in manual. Nu arata ca un buton. Este design prost. Puteam sa fac video-ul proaspat, dupa ce am facut ce am facut in video-ul postat, fara bajbaiala, dar nu asta a fost farmecul. A fost sa descoper pe viu ce si cum. Din comentarii, altora le-a placut video-ul. Nu este video-ul problema. Este vizionatorul si asteptarile lor de moromete. Noroc!

It was a while ago, so I don't remember clearly. It says clearly in the manual/instructions that came with it.
