Impressive night abilities! Some of those on a POE system would be nice. Even adding to an existing system wouldn’t be bad. 4K in that would be a new standard for the best system.
I agree... I suggested to them..PoE same dual lens, 4K, AI, and app..running on wired NVR..

I know..but they will be limited to around 30 feet because of the PIR sensor.... (for their WiFi cameras)
My reolink lumus can detect stuff super far away because it has pixel detection.
Ace - it is PIR..unless it uses both..it has the half dome sensor in the front..
@@LifeHackster yes it uses both sometime it will detect my neighbor walking out or her door across the street. I had to set up a zone to block the area. I remember when you made the video about it, yours was not working at the time but it has been fixed. The only issue I'm having with Reolink is it's not getting notifications unless I unlock my phone.

Great review. Good camera with perfect picture for day record and night especially, 25fps makes it more crisp. For those who worry about privacy the problem will be producer - HIKVision - China state owned company. I hope one day Ring will be able make same video quality for its products.

Thank you so much for all of your reviews! I just bought and installed 2 Victure cameras and the motion detection is horrible. All they do is alert me to cars going past my house and insects at night, even on the lowest sensitivity settings. They are so busy recording cars, birds, etc. that they totally miss people coming up to the house, so I will be uninstalling and sending these back. I have been searching for a different camera that I can lower the sensitivity or adjust zones to not record background motion, and only want alerts for people by the front door or in the driveway. Since you have had this camera for around a month now, are you still happy with it? Do you think the zone and human detection features would fit my needs for an outdoor wired camera to only detect people by the house and not background motion in the distance? If you have any better camera suggestions for me, please let me know. Thanks again for all of your hard work putting these reviews together!

Came across your review and I would say you can do it way better by editing what people need to see first. A hook I would say, introduction the video quality of the camera first before giving all the spec. I have to skip all the unboxing first before getting to see what the camera can do for me! Most people might be turned off because of the spec and skip the video. Btw, move that stupid light beside you, I have no idea why so many bloggers are doing this, it is painful to watch the light as the composition drawing the eyes toward the light. Watch the video and see for yourself, just it looks cool doesn’t mean it works for the audiences. If you like to keep the light, have dimmer switch to lower the power that doesn’t hurt the eyes! Great review. I have just ordered three for my home. I already have the indoor Eziviz C1 and although it is only 720p, the picture quality is good. I looked at Ring and Google cameras, but failings on both of those. Both require a subscription to record, these Ezviz record locally and I can download from the card and reformat in the cam. Looked at the Arlo 4K, battery life is abysmal! (Ring are no better!) If these are only half as good as the reviews I have read, they will more than fit the bill.

Thank you for this review. I know this product has been out for very long now but I want to ask. Is there a cooldown for the notifications when motion/person is detected?

It is pretty good... I wish it is PoE..
It's a pity that it looks like they changed the tone sound ("Soft" alarm) to a voice that says "secure area - please leave immediately".
I looked forward to the tone notifying me that somebody is waiting at my gate - without chasing them away!

Hi,is the human motion detection the same at night..my camera detects me at about 15 meters,beyond that the motion detection falls away..can move around and even move in front of a light and the camera does not detect me,camera is up to date..👍

@@LifeHackster You can just get a PoE splitter to split data and 12v power from your passive PoE switch or injector. Works very well on the C3X units I just picked up.
That being said, how did you get the spotlight to stay on instead of flashing? When enabled, spotlight will only flash on and off, not stay on like in your video. Thanks.
Great review! But compared to the C3W Pro, which one would you recommend in terms of picture quality especially at night and fluidity of motion? Which one has less false alarm?

Hi! I'm wondering how do you turn the camera on? If the power goes down, will the camera automatically turn on when the power is back? Or do I need to turn it on in the app?

hi does the camera itself needs to be connected to wifi network at all times? or just once during initial setup? i ask because my dad wants to have one like this installed at home in india before he goes overseas for few months but issue is the house is in a sort of remote location and the network he has at home is metered and unstable dropping connections etc.
Hi, will you be able to completely disable the spotlight camera and only keep the night vision LEDs? Also did it detect bugs that was flying past? My current cam picks up even the smallest bugs with only LED lights that they seem drawn to so I'm getting constant notifications and recordings of bugs :(
Excellent video. I am debating whether to buy this one, but at you say, 2k or 4k would be nicer. Since this video is two years old, I am guessing they must be bringing out a 2k version soon?. I already have 2 Exviz camera inside my house and love their simplicity and all at the low cost I paid.
Is there anyway to make the camera record all motion detected and the alarm only goes off when a person detected? My C3TN Pro does that, but I can't figure out how to make my C3X does.
@Lifehackster.....I bought this C3X camera and noticed that the camera gets very hot when plugged into power and I am concern about this camera breaking down because of the extreme heat. I googled this issue online and seems like this is a known issue on this and other Ezviz bullet camera models. Have you noticed the heat generated when testing this camera and should I be concerned? Quick question: what does the "s" symbol on the video footage, next to the date/time, mean? In other videos there's sometimes a "w" there??

KISS for reliability. POE just adds addition layers of protocols and hardware (i.e something else to go wrong). As long as you have to run a line to the camera to get power to it then keep it simple and reliable with 12 Volt DC (my worthless 2 cents :-)
One thing missing from your reviews is whether the people recognition features ignore animal based motion. I have squirrels and crows triggering my ring flood light cam every day.
I can tell you that it is 100% accurate in person detection... I don't have pets but I do know I have a possum that comes in my backyard once in a while and this camera hasn't picked it up.. With Ring, you can use its person detection to minimize other motion.
@@LifeHackster thanks, after I made my comment I did some research and found the Person Detection option for Ring. I haven't tested it out because I have a long driveway and I need vehicles and people detection. It appears Ring doesn't provide this feature. The C3X looks like a good potential replacement for my Ring Flood.
I’m a little bit confused. Can you go straight to live view from a push notification so that you can use the 2 way audio? Considering this camera instead of a video doorbell.

A couple of years ago we had a broken trail cam that had blackout leds so I was curious as when I took the camera apart all it had was tint similar to thick window tint covering the infrared leds. I thought they worked at a different light spectrum or something. I wonder if it’s that simple. Great Channel and information.

I just bought it for your review. Thank you but I am having issues with the draw and line detection, seems to be detect outside the draw. If I only want the line detection should I deactivate the area zone marking a single little square somewhere?

Hi have this camera as an upgrade to the none AI one. I got it In The hope car headlights driving past would not set it off or my spot light that comes on when a cat walks past but still have the problem anymore now if there is anything I can do to stop this please

For home surveillance and about 120$ this camera does its job as intended. How long can it record before the memory card is full using the one you have in this demo?. Is the recorded video still in 1080p or compressed?. How is the video if the camera is placed in an area where the sun directly hits the lense (lense glare)?.
Which one do you think is better, this is one or the Reolink Argus 2?

are you able to also have a voice recording on a ring spotlight camera like you do on the EZVIZ C3X camera ? or is his a feature only available on the EZVIZ ? The reason i ask is because i am trying use it to scare deer away, they continue to eat my wifes roses, so i figured that if i had one right above the rose garden then the light would come on and i could record a voice to shoo them off!! please help! any suggestions. I have Ring camera's the Stick up, the Spotlight and a ring motion detector with a Smart Ring spotlight and Ring Smart Lighting Motion Sensor along with the Ring bridge. I preer to stay with the same brand and also use anything that does not require power, preferably battery power or solar as i dont want to have to run power to the area. What camera would be your recommendation as of 2020 to date?
Looking to install one for the front of my house, have a ring video doorbell, haven’t been super impressed with it though.
I do have one but yesterday it stop working and then when i reset it, this message shows "Sorry, connecting to network failed, please try again or select other configuration method." I exchanged it where I bought it but when I was trying to add the new one it saying same problem😫😫😫
