My point of view is first of all, is a winter song so they are making a coffee to warm our soul plus the coffee being a universe by itself. You need seeds ( earth), water, warm (fire), and finally you see the smoke (air). You can see that you can made coffee in so many diferent ways... more cream, less cream, with milk, without milk (so there's many universes)... and on the table you can see that are so many different cups (forms) that the coffee ( universe/s) can fit but all are vibrating at the same pulse. That's the pulse of the music. And that's it. We can talk when you want about the chaos created from a single line (simplicity) or a single string of wool. Let the ropes for another coment. But I found that mv very poethical and I just love it a lot. From a single grain of coffee to the entire universe. From the earth ( the grains) at the begining to the sky/ air ( the coffee smoke) at the end. Brilliant, simple, beautiful and so complex. Like the song.

the knots is symbolism of celtic knots, it has no beginning and no end, and it's endless. in celtic myth, the knots symbolize the sacred geometry of the universe. it represents eternity, infinity, and eternal life. and no need to say that this mv is my most favorite of exo mvs. i mean, look at the color scheme, the cinematography, and don't start with their vocals.. ugh! thank you for reacting this mv ^^
It's incredible, like since I saw the MV when they raised it, I could not stop feeling chills at how beautiful and harmonious everything was, from the scenes, images, colors, vocals and melody... And still, every time I see it, I return to have those chills like the first time... the rest of the songs on the album are also excellent, I recommend listening to them :)
