The reason why ATEEZ has such a distinctive production sound and style that links their discography together is because all of their songs were produced by the same group Eden-ery with Hongjoong often having his hand in many songs as well. This means that all of their songs are tailored to them and their concept as a group as well as the capabilities of the different members as opposed to most kpop groups whose songs are often all made by different producers within the company or bought externally and then fashioned to fit the group. This is one of the reasons I love their music so much - as you said, the production on them is amazing and they’re just so good to listen to even while being powerful and intense.

I know you said you weren't gonna get super into the storyline but I wanted to give some basic info in case you or some viewers are curious bc it's something that I am super interested in and love to talk about :) Inception could be considered the beginning of their story. There is a short film, "Diary Film" that they released before the song that explains each of their characters. Basically, they are teens who love each other and music. However, events happen that threaten to break them up. A member of HALATEEZ gives Hongjoong an hourglass (called the Cromer) which allows the boys to travel through dimensions. They take on these pirate personas as they travel, making Hongjoong their Captain. It is confirmed that they travel during full moons, and it is theorized that they travel through dreaming. The thing they are searching for is their Utopia, something Hongjooong calls the "New World", which is a place where they hope they can happily live together. HALATEEZ are a version of them from another dimension. They are not evil, and are usually on ATEEZ'S side. The masked men in white, the White Giants, ARE evil. This, and other info, is revealed in little story booklets that come with the diary versions of albums Fever Part 1 and Fever Part 2. Hope this helped someone!

ATEEZ has 8 different dimensions (DIARY FEVER PART.1) and each dimensions tells a different story but has a connection to each other and that connection has not been answered fully. But as of now,, think of ATEEZ concept as a movie (which is proven true by Eden - one of ATEEZ main producer) and in a movie there is a structure to capture the viewers. SPOILER FOR A LOT OF ALBUMS ESPECIALLY DIARY VERSIONS OF ZERO:FEVER PART 1 & 2!!!! 1. The Setup: Pirate King - Say My Name This eras shows us the characters (the members) and what they are all about. Basically the introduction of the plotline/storyline. 2. The Catalyst: Say My Name - Answer the circumstance that thrusts the members into the story. The circumstance in this instance is the man in the white mask, not Halateez, because according to FEVER PART.2 Diary Ver. he is the enemy in another universe (remember 8 dimensions). 3. Midpoint (flashback) & turning point: FEVER. PART 1 Not all movies includes a flashback of the protagonists, however, for ATEEZ they show us their life before their setup and the turning point. How life were before they became who they are and what happened. Even though it's vague we can see that problems occurred between the members and had turned against each other making their world broken into 8 dimensions. 4. The Plot point one: FEVER PART. 2 So this is where it gets somewhat interesting because we can see the dystopian world (like Wonderland) of another dimension and according to the Diary album Version this is the land where Halateez resides along with the man in the white mask. ATEEZ has come into the Halateez world to burn the place down because of the injustice in the government (which is also shown on their Kingdom Performance). Basically what I am saying is, we are not even half way into the movie of ATEEZ. We are still long ways to go before we get to the ending and piece the storyline together. Even I myself cannot think of everything but this is just a little short summary of the storyline. Also, if you look carefully, ATEEZ has this hourglass (especially shown on DIARY FEVER PART.1 Story) which helps them jumping into different dimensions and also turn back time (don't ask me how). But, enjoy piecing it together along with us ☺

And since this is a prequel, Answer is the latest part of their storyline (we still have no idea where they disappeared to after the man in white, the "android guardian", showed up😅) They have some "diary entries" in the diary versions of the fever albums, and the story is highkey confusing😂 but the general knowledge is that Ateez is adventuring and looking for their "treasure," whereas Halateez (they're not the bad guys btw) are kinda leading a resistance in THEIR dimension, but are also helping Ateez in Ateez's dimension. I'd continue but this is probably already too long, but there's a short film they made during the Inception cb called "Diary film," which explains the prequel story a bit more. If/when you want to get into the Atzverse, I recommend checking that out! :')

I really can't believe I only now found your channel but I just binged all of you ateez videos djfjf. firstly, you are super cute and I love your energy. secondly, I wanna let you in on some storyline stuff we know thanks to the diary versions of the albums. basically, in (what I assume is) the hala hala universe, all forms of art and emotions have been forbidden. ateez gather and rebel against it (like they said in the teaser for fireworks, giving hope to the people there) forming The Black Pirates (halateez). the government declares them a terrorist group for going against them, and they're chased by the White Giants (the ones you see at the end of fireworks and answer) Now... things get a bit more complex and I personally don't think I know enough to piece things together, but there's something about traveling between dimensions and time, something to do with the moon, there's the Cromer (hourglass you might see pop up sometimes) just... a lot. definitely recommend watching their diary film but it's still a bit confusing. i think with the kingdom stages they're definitely clearing up some things within the storyline though. Hope that wasn't too much TT
the fact that the music in the outro has the music for Sector 1 that just came out 2022 and this MV was back in 2020 just shows how far ahead Ateez has their music planned out. No one else in the industry is doing it like them. Every time they finish a MV and have music you have to wonder what masterpiece is coming next.

I don't know if someone mentioned this already, but in Inception, the shots of the members in another place is actually related to their storyline. From what I understand, they all have a story of their life with Jongho being a basketball player, Yeosang being forced to learn violin, Wooyoung suffering from stage fright, etc. In their universe they eventually came together as friends and then the thing with HALATEEZ, alternate dimensions, cromer, time travelling, pirates, etc. started off.

After just over a year down the Rabbit Hole, I've gone hard into BTS and Blackpink. Stray Kids are becoming a problem so I need to spend some time there before I take on another group. So for the Answer, they make it together like, good side and dark side.. They together just in one body.. So they make a peace between them and.. Now... things get a bit more complex and I personally don't think I know enough to piece things together, but there's something about traveling between dimensions and time, something to do with the moon, there's the Cromer (hourglass you might see pop up sometimes) just... a lot. definitely recommend watching their diary film but it's still a bit confusing. i think with the kingdom stages they're definitely clearing up some things within the storyline though.

the fact that the music in the outro has the music for Sector 1 that just came out 2022 and this MV was back in 2020 just shows how far ahead Ateez has their music planned out. No one else in the industry is doing it like them. Every time they finish a MV and have music you have to wonder what masterpiece is coming next.
Answer is my all time favorite ateez song. It's just perfect. I just can't find the words to explain just how much I've cried to this song just because it makes me feel some type of way.

I don't know if someone mentioned this already, but in Inception, the shots of the members in another place is actually related to their storyline. From what I understand, they all have a story of their life with Jongho being a basketball player, Yeosang being forced to learn violin, Wooyoung suffering from stage fright, etc. In their universe they eventually came together as friends and then the thing with HALATEEZ, alternate dimensions, cromer, time travelling, pirates, etc. started off.

After just over a year down the Rabbit Hole, I've gone hard into BTS and Blackpink. Stray Kids are becoming a problem so I need to spend some time there before I take on another group.

Im not good in english.. But what i gonna say was...SAY MY NAME was a good side of ateez and HALA HALA was a dark side of ateez..So, the beginning of SAY MY NAME mv.. The dark side and good side was split up.. But At the end of that mv..the good side of ateez are reunited with dark side of ateez ( hala hala ).. So for the Answer, they make it together like, good side and dark side.. They together just in one body.. So they make a peace between them and.. They will took over the worl with that dark and good side spirit in their body.. So thts why, in this ANSWER mv, they make a toast for the symbol that they have reunited.. Tht the connection from what u can see from each mv..( Im sorry if u guys cant understand what i said)..
