Few suggestions from my side: 1. Oil should be drained first before changing Oil Filter 2. Recently VW has significantly reduced prices of service spares. Irrespective, genuine spares should always be used. 3. Never use normal water in Coolant. Normal water has minerals which induce corrosion inside engine parts which may lead to engine failure in long run. Always use branded distilled water for mixing with coolant or my advice is to use ready to use pre-mix coolant. Always use genuine coolant because there is a lot of research that company does in order to ensure perfect coolant for engine. VW coolant (G12 Evo) is far ahead of other coolants in the industry. 4. Don't let brake oil become so dirty. It can be very very risky. Without brake bleeding, there is no use changing the brake oil only in reservoir. Brake oil should be changed regularly along with proper bleeding in breaks. 5. Castrol Edge (genuine) is available at much more cheaper price than your quote. MRP on the box is way higher than it actually retails in auto markets. I am talking about genuine oil here. You can get Edge 5L in the range of 3300-3500 very easily. 6. Dirty coolant is one of the most common reasons in destroying engines from inside in long run. I could see very dirty coolant reservoir bottle when the technician was filling the coolant. My advice is to completely flush the entire cooling system using coolant flush along with reservoir bottle change/clean separately and then fill the entire system using G12 Evo RTU Genuine VW coolant to avoid any engine issues like head gasket failure etc. 7. It's a learning that I wanted to share with you after being associated with VW for so long. Don't believe 15k km change interval for service if you want to keep your car for long and without any issues. My advice is to change engine oil + oil/fuel filter + air filter cleaning every 8,000 km. With 15k km interval service, highly likely that engine will start consuming oil and other related issues will start creeping. I have seen this happening in 90% of the cases after which owners start looking to sell their cars instead of crazy expensive repairs of engine. Just sharing my learnings here (specifically with VW cars) and how to keep cars in top shape. 🙂

My suggestion for you would be start the service by draining the engine oil coz it takes a lot of time to completely empty it. Specially the last 0.5 ltr. You can use an heavy duty Jack or two small ramps to lift the front of the car to easily get space to move around under the engine. Don’t flush the car engine regularly coz it can damage the sealants in the car. Check ur owners Manual for that. Put in the new oil filter after filling in fresh oil. Meanwhile u can change n clean air filter and cabin filter. Edit : pls use gloves while servicing, otherwise dirt might not get off easily after washing hands.

I am ready to afford 15k maintenance for a year or 15000 km service. Now please you suggest, should I buy vento or not and what would be the maximum service cost if compared to other cars??
Dear Nilesh Ji, To Begin Answering, Here's it: YES, Consider Buying A Vento. This Chart To Be Followed for Every Service Except at 1,20,000 Kms as You'd Be Required To Change The Timing Belt Kit and V Belt Every 30K Kms, Additionally You May Be Required To Check The DSG Gear Oil for Replacement.
@@wickydrives Thank you so much for your detailed reply. I had enquired about DSG oil change with the authorized service center. Chittarranjan Ji, for All Models of Vento Such as TDI/ MPI or DSG Both Petrol and Diesel Variant The Gear Oil Needs Not To Be Replaced Until You Have Driven Around 1.5 Lac Kms or Over 5 Years+ (It Also Lasts More and Doesn't Easily Gets Dirty) However, it is Recommended You Observe The Transmission Feedback for Any Unwanted Issues. Thank You for The Comment, However... in The Manual it is Mentioned 5W40 and I Had Checked with The Auth. Service Stn Executive Too... May Be Specifications for My Model i.e. 2013 Make... Kindly Advice..
VW 507 spec is for cars with DPF. 505.01 is the correct spec for Vento/Polo diesels in India as they don’t have DPF. So 5W40 Castrol Edge is the correct engine oil. Better oils are Liqui Moly Top Tec 4100 and Amsoil Euro 5W40 MS.
Nice video. But you can easily use proper genuine parts. He kept calling local parts as genuine. All filters shown are not genuine. He used purolator, sofima, zip filters which I can say are not genuine ones. They are 1st copy of original OEM filters. Coolant used is very local quality. Bantex is local company. Headlight bulbs are also local. If you have personal vehicle then I would suggest to use proper genuine products.

Nice effort in your videos. But I'd like to point out that you spend a humongous amount of money in VW ASC getting your suspension and other stuff sorted but when it came to general service you went after market. Air filter OEM VW is for 400 bucks. Fuel system of VW cars especially Vento is very sensitive to fuel adultery. Hence, you should have gone for OEM spec. I did not understand the point of saving a mere 2-3k bucks in general service and spending almost 65k in the suspension job which can easily be catered by after market parts. Hope you got my point.
Thank You Once Again Gaurav Ji for The Detailed Insight After Watching This Video.. I Genuinely Understood The Importance on 2 Things: 1) Genuine Diesel Filter and 2) Quality Coolant... How you manage to buy all genuine parts as vw claim that they wont sell orignal products. One need to get serviced from authorised dealer to get orignal parts
Thank You for Your Question Mayur Ji, Yes; You are Absolutely Correct, VW and Most Brands Authorized Service Centre aren't Allowed To Sell Spares Over The Counter, However The Manufacturer of Those Spares are Not Required To Sell it To Authorized Service Stations Only... for 1.6 TDI 77kw Vento you should use Castrol Edge 5w30LL. which is VW 507 00 Approved. 5W40 is not recomended. :)
Thank You for Watching The Complete Video Shreenivas Ji,
Yes You are Correct; However These Parts are Manufactured by Other Companies Specifically for VW, Skoda and Audi But Not as OEM & They Perform Excellent.. These Same Parts were Shown in Another Famous Online Car Spares Site as "Authorized/ Verified"
But Genuine is Genuine..
So Far The Result is Excellent with The Cabin Filter; Oil Filter I'd Come To Know in Next Service..
The Coolant is Something Which I Would Not Recommend Though... Il Share Reason in Ownership Video Soon.
Speaking About Osram Bulbs; They Too are Brand and are Also OEM for Many Two & Four Wheeler Brands.

Purolator & Sofima are well known genuine OEM companies.
Mahle is OEM supplier for most of the companies
Headlight bulb is also genuine
City and highway milage ?
City 22 and Highway 25..
How about petrol manual vento
I'd Request Someone Else To Answer This..
Engine oil filter pehle charge kr diya and car start kr di and oil drain bad me kiya jis se filter purane oil se dirty ho gya or vohi durt new engine oil me mil gyi
Thank You for The Comment Tejinder Ji... The Filter was Replaced First... and New Engine Oil was Refilled... I May Have Missed The Sequence in Editing :)
@@wickydrives ok sir
Not Because I Faced Any Issues Till Date But in General Have Realised The Implications Could Be Worst in Later Years if I Continue To Use These Aftermarket Products.
Thank You for Highlighting This Here As Well :)
@@wickydrives Yes. Rest All can be delayed. But not these filter things. They can be detrimental for the engine. And as you already know, Vento needs love. And it rewards back in ways that are much more amazing. Like 29KMPL Fuel efficiency :)
Haha Yess :)
Good one! But brake fluid bleeding was done wrong. Brake fluid should be bleeded from the calipers and also from clutch slave cylinder. It is also better to use vw brake fluid
Right Brother Thomas, However; I Decided To Do Top Up Instead of Complete Bleeding..
Suggestion Greatly Accepted, Will Implement it in This Years Service Which is Just Around The Corner :)
@@wickydrives thanks bro. Just wanted to make you aware of the mistakes that I did long back😊. Also consider using VW brake fluids or super DOT 4 LV brake fluids. VW brake fluids are super Dot 4 LV brake fluids specially designed for ABS systems.
Mine is Comfortline Brother, Shall Go for VW Brake Fluids as Suggested by You..
Add 3 bottles of red coolant
Rightly Said Prabh Ji, This Time I'd Take Care of it..
Bro next time use Motul 8100 xcess engine oil trust me vehicle will be very different and smooth
Thank You for The Suggestion Bro, Now Will Have To Check This in 2024... as I Did The Service and Used Same Oil.. Video Will Be Uploaded Soon...
Local part h ye
Haa Mukal Ji..
Thus They are Available with A Good Local Spares Shop as Well.
However, You Need To Dig in Hard To Check The Genuineness of it.

@@wickydrives सिफ॔ 55000 चली है, service और maintenance महंगा तो नहीं पडेगा ?
Sunil Ji,
Agar Yeh Gaadi Aap Ke Known Friend Ki Hai To Aap 55000 Kms Trust Kar Sakte Hai, Yadi Yeh Gaadi Aapko Dealer/ Online Ad Se Mil Rahi Hai Toh 98% 55000 Kms Nahi Hogi... Kripya Aap Lene Ke Pehle Service Records Mangle Le.
Service Cost Matra 8K - 9K Saalana Hai Wo Bhi Har 15000 Kms Ke Liye.
Rahi Baat Maintenance Cost Ki; Thodi Zyada Hai Par Parts Kaafi Saal Tak Chalenge.. Maintenance Me Aap Ko Suspension, Clutch, Steering Rack Ityadi Cheezo Ka Dhyaan Dena Hota Hai.
Bahi parts to original le k aate oil jordar par purola k sab dada

Bro my vento almost run 98k and my engine is saliently vibration is it major issue?
Hi Brother,
Thank You for Sending This Question; This is What I Feel About The Issue:
There are Various Possibilities from Very Minor To Some Major Reasons for The Vibration Issue.
- For Example Minor Issue Could Be Due To Engine Oil Level Lower Than Minimum.
- Other Minor Reason Could Be A Loose Engine Mounts
At Present It Would Be Difficult To Share Major Reasons Since I Need More Details To Look at.
I Would Suggest You To Visit Authorized Service Centre for Diagnosis and Costing; Thereafter You May Decide Whether To Get it Resolve from VW Authorized Centre or A Local Garage.
Let Me Know What The Reason Once You Diagnose it.
Hope I was Able To Answer Your Question, Do Consider Subscribing The Channel.

Okay...

Thank You for This Information Paaji :)
The video shows that he changed the oil filter first, then turned on the engine after changing fuel filter, and then he changed engine oil. The old dirty oil circulated through the new filter, ruining it. If this is the case, it is a stupidity.
It was Editing Sequence Error, Have Already Told This in Other Comment. You Can Check 2023 Service Which I Did Myself..
Vento is very bad about average and low level seating for 6 feet tall person .... Suspension is very very bad at speed breakers n potholes ... Very low ground clearance ... But your info vdo is nice ❤️❤️❤️
