I can solo heat room on both reaper and daredevil. For reaper you need the soul reaping trait line for shroud movement and shroud skill recharge. Move close to the door and summon your flesh wurm at max range, then teleport in. Dodge forward twice, enter reaper shroud and use shroud skill 2 on cooldown to move forward until your shroud disappears. By this time you should be close enough to dodge forward into the control room. Use well of protection to condition cleanse. On daredevil, equip the unhindered combatant trait and shortbow 5 into the room. Use up all three dodges forward, shadowstep forward, use infiltrator's signet to replenish endurance and dodge again. Even if you go down, you should be close enough to use your downed skill 2 to teleport inside the room. Use your dodge to cleanse immobilize.
Because of this guide I always request a warrior even in Tier 1 just for this fractal. We have done it with a Mesmer and portals, but it's easier with a warrior. Thank you for that tip!
With warrior in heat room, you can take Rampage for great mobility, the rage leap skill, and the 2 physical movement skills (the one in the vid and the leap). Those will get you to end alive. Except for Rampage, the cd is short enough on all to switch before last boss.
For thief soloing repulsor lab, do you kill all the golems on the right side first? I had them walk into my trap a lot of the time, putting me in a potentially really bad spot. Got it after a while, but it feels too inconsistent to do with all the golems up, and I couldn't help noticing the lack of golems in your video for both thief and mesmer.
8:50 I still don't understand this part and it's the part I need info on the most. Why did the game blink you back outside in the beginning? And how are you expected to make it through on other professions if you're going to knowingly down near the end?
+Marion Leu If ever I do find someone equally passionate about *writing* the massive script required for all dungeons, then maybe I would consider it. But that is an even larger project than the fractal guides and the full script for these were 73 pages all written by me :P Not doing that solo again
now THATS A PROJECT... i might do it... stil less to do then to say the same things in chat every goddamn day... "kill this last, dont walk there, just fucking w8 infront of the door" and then i dont feel qualified enough to write or even make a video like this mysefl :D i forgot alot about dungeoning that winter.
I use an alternative plan to fight the annomanly and it works miracles on all lvls i assume even the high ones. Unlike other fract bosses it doesnt reset It's HP instatly leaving asmall window of opportunity to keep it low. The plan goes as follows 3 ppl go only to engage and the other 2 remain dow. The instant the lst one dies, the dead respwan asap whie the other 2 goup to keep the annomally low on hP where there previous team left him. Then the other 3 go to the pane land one goes up to assist, running thisc circle until the annnomaly dies, securing a kill no matter What. It jusy has to be asap the res of the dead ndthe telort up to maintain the low HP. Try it out it worked Every time i used it, you lose dps and do more time but increce the chances of a kill by a lot more.
So the fastest way to solo this dungeon would be 3 for dormitories, mesmer solo repulsor lab, someone else solo heat and after or before that all together for ooze?
+Kimimoto That is the absolute fastest way of completion, yes. All the rooms you see between 6:20 - 11:40 are all done simultaneously, effectively cutting off several minutes of the fractal as long as all involved party members knows what to do. Each room can of course be done by several party members as well :) Usually we like to do Ooze first, just to get it out of the way.
Showing off how to single handedly do the reflector lab isn't helpful for beginners. You showed the whole ooze fight, but couldn't be bothered to explain what the reflector lab is about. It doesn't make sense.
9000 gold inventory... that will hunt me in my dreams
hahah, same

Eyyyyy your guides have helped me a lot with the fractals since I just started it a week ago.
Keep up the awesome work m8.

the lazers room seem a bit prepared i mean no golms and so shield to pick from
Will this guide be updated since the fractal changed a bit?
Stupid panels...
+Jesper “Dib” Locher I cry everytime z.z
+Deroir LOL!

+Anthony Doan That is the "Sylvari Hologram Dance" Gw2 OST found on ArenaNet's soundcloud :)
+Deroir tyty
:D could you do something like this with dungeons aswell? every "exp only"-group now a days spawns the stupid oozes in ascalonian catacombs -.-

+Rusty This is what we call the cheese strategy ;) But yeah, it does work, doesn't mean I'll use it though :P
+Deroir Cheese xD

+Deroir I always solo heat with thief without a cooling rod, can other classes do this too at such high level?
+Kimimoto I know Warrior and Necro can do it, but they have to use high cooldown elite skills to pull it off.
+Kimimoto Mesmers can pull it off as well. Especially easy now with the chrono spec.
okay nice, thanks :)
where is the necro solo video?
There is a special action key to prevent a single panel from dispersing :) wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hex_Shield

Any reason why the war didnt use rampage to solo heatroom?
+bochumerjunge0109 In trying to do it fast, he scrubbed out, simple as that ^^ lol
Excelente !
You'll have to make a new guide friendo :P
do this on 66
Hardly understandable. Definitely not a newb-friendly guide for beginners nor to new people at fractals.
True. As the intro video for the series says "this is for the master tier fractal (Tier 4)".
man I love you for the guide thanks so much , P.S. not gay
