Thankyou for providing such a great leacture to us with free of cost..

Best teacher in java. I havent seen god but i have seen him teaching me java.
U havent seen but seen his teaching java? Contradicting
one more difference between HashMap and HashTable is that whenever we iterate entry from hashMap it will iterate in ascending and in HashTable it will come in descending order naturally (*if key will be integer number)

Your explanation depth is really fantastic.
Thank u Jajoo for your feedback
retrieve keys 28:30
** retrieve only keys: Set keySet()
** retrieve only values: Collection values()
Key + Values = Entry
Set entrySet()
Entry interface 31:50
without existing Map object, there is no chance of existing Entry object. So Entry is an inner interface of Map interface.
Thanq sir...tasks completed
Thank you from bottom of my heart 😊

thanks sir for all valuable tutorials !! it is very informative with clean and clear explanation
Hi Amit. Thank you very much for your feedback
sir you said that when there is a condition like .interface A{
interface B{
}}
the inner interface is always public and static by default and we can access them directly.
In your inner class video.
Thanks for the video
adding null values at first in treeset was possible until 1.6, but not from 1.7.
it was considered as defect and java fixed it. now we cannot add null value even at first.
Thanks for info

Hi Sir,Your knowledge is wonderful.Thnaks a lot for sharing with us.I haven't found this kind of knowledge in any website.
After watching the video ,in some java documentation I found that Map.Entry is a static interface .Why should it be static.Static means something related to class then here why interface is static?
Sir You are the best java trainer. In this video you have not taught how hashmap works internally. Kindly upload the same.
Happy Teachers' Day Sir:)

Thanks sir..
I got the answer sir..Pls correct me if I am wrong. Map.Entry is static so that we can do any operations with objects in Entry(Key,Value) .Simply by using Interface name we can call methods ..
Hats off!! Fantabulous

Hi Durga Sir ,
An interviewer once asked me 2 ways to synchronize hashmap . One is synchronizedmap which you have already explained in this video , which is the other method ?
typecast to hashtable?
concurrentHashmap() method
Best Explanation
HashTable is Underlying data structure or implementation class,because for HashMap,LinkedHashMap,HashSet,LinkedHashSet underLying Data strucure is HashTable

There is doubt in methods access modifier, if methods of Hashmap have "default" access modifier then how would be possible to access those methods in other package
Sir what is the difference in the code when we apply synchronization to the map???
synchronization provides Thread-safe
Hi ratan sir....can u pls upload collections part-1,3,5,6,9....etc.some vedios have some problem sir pls check that vedios like collection part-1vedio .and once reupload pls sir.
Sir, hashmap's underlying data structure is hashtable. So, the hashmap shd also be synchronized. But it is not. Why?
Both HashMap and Hashtable are implemented using Hash Table dataStructure.
why entryset is needed when we are getting entries when we call the map object alone...Please explain?
EntrySet returns a set(array). map returns an object
sir nicee
Since there is no connection between collection nd mapp how we can use synchronised method of collection interface......
Pls someone give ans

Plz contact our online team durgasoftonlinetraining@gmail.com or call us on this number +918885252627,7207212427/28
Hi Akash, it is not Collection Interface, this is Collections class which extends Object class, it has common methods of collection and Map interfaces related classes, and synchronizedMap() method is one of them.
sir for KeySet(),values(),entrySet(), how can we invoke them using Map object?Map is an interface know sir!
We are invoking these methods on implementation of Map interface i.e HashMap class and not on Map interface.
Implementing classes for Entry are
1) AbstractMap.SimpleEntry
2)AbstractMap.SimpleImmutableEntry
sir please event handling ka video bniyaa
Thank you ..!!
how we are using the Set interface without implementing it.
