I've seen the Banquine act many times on th Quidam dvd, as well as on the movie Journey of Man and the tv series Solstrom, and even got to see it live when Quidam came to my city in 2008. But it's until watching this video watching them how they trained and prepared without the make up and costumes that I came to appreciate the act even more and be amazed at what the human body can do.
Shame this show is discontinued. Quidam, La Nouba, Alegria, Ka are my top shows. New shows can't seem compare to these because their music and acts feel generic. Not as much magic.
For me the golden age of Cirque du Soleil was from 1992 to 2005 (from Saltimbanco to Corteo). Shows done after 2005 are very commercial and lack the magic of the classic ones, with a few exceptions like Zed (which is sadly discontinued too) and Luzia.
The best show of Cirque du Soleil! it was a pleasure to be part of this!
Thank you so much💜 my favorite show too!
It.was the first Cirque du Soleil show I'd ever seen!
Yes. You was the best of Cirque du Soleil
@@DANEMOTOYS the show, and absolutely you, are incredible in this!thank ylu
i agree danila, melhor show do soleil memo, bem q podia voltar como o alegria voltou
Man Franco is amazing! He's responsible for Saltimbanco, Alegria and Quidam!!! I keep forgetting Oleg, John and Olga left Quidam to do Varekai!
Quidam and Algeria are my two favorite shows. They helped Cirque du Soleil become the juggernaut that it is today.
RIP Franco Dragone, the man behind Cirque's huge success.

I personally feel Kurios had a bit of that spark.
Un saluto ideale a tutti i ragazzi di Quidam, a John, Chris, e a tutti gli altri: bravissimi!

I Had No Idea Rene Bazinet Was Involved In Quidam! Loved Him In “Saltimbanco”, And Especially The “Alegria” Film ☺️
