Hello, I'm going to start AA:U. I'm basically only interested in PvP in all MMOs i participate. My question here is: How can I earn gold, doing the minimum of the PvE possible?
Wonder if I can find a casual friendly method. I’ll probably only have like five hours out the whole week to play AA cause I’m busy and always traveling. To be honest I might not play till a few months or so after release till I can get my IRL stuff managed. So lol that throws being relevant out the window.
If you can't play for the first few months that's ok, as long as you jump in around launch day and get some land and then log in and hold it. You could probably have a nice size able pile of gold ready to go if you log in and flip trees to logs and then to lumber.
Paradox Gaming Network oh dang.. well with me going to school in less than a few days I won’t be able to do that. So rip. I’ll just keep watching your videos then and just see how things pan out!
As someone who is going to be forced to play rather casually, will just farming/gathering be a viable consistent source of income? I know the early log boom will be good but then what after? Would i just need to play the market game?
hey bro, I'm always thinking, should I focus on JUST 1 and ONLY 1, or I could get at least 2 of them mixed, like ill gather wood and process that wood into lumber, will be that okay or money-wise?
So yeah...for a while the archepass was both fast, easy and good money at the same time. Now people are running around with 5,5k gs after a week -> I'm here to learn how to catch up xD
There is a range based on each purse, I would put 7.2 as low, I've never had it that low over a sample size, and yes you are correct you need to get 230,000 labor to get max. The trick is ALL silver to labor ratios are low in the beginning until you get your proficiency built up.
Are trade runs just completely non-viable to make gold anymore? i haven't played since 9 months after the original launch. I'm aware somethings have changed, but it was was one of my favorite things to do =(
hi, new sub here. Been binging yours and other archeage RUclipsr's videos and really looking forward to AAU. I never really got into legacy or archeRAGE because all the land plots were taken up and what I want to do in this game is farming/cooking and maybe trade runs. Is there any videos or advice you have that could point me in the right direction. All i am planning on doing now is trying to grind gilda to be able to buy a house/farm before land is unlocked and after that learn as i go along. Also is it safe to expect that all the land will pretty much be taken that first day land is unlocked?
Should I start playing when PTS are online or should I wait till the 15th because the PTS progress will most likely be reseted I guess? And your guides kinda made me a bit prepared for what will come
Progress will be reset. I would recommend checking out just to get a feel for it. Get as many mistakes out of the way on your "test run" before the real deal.
lol, might want to include an ear rape warning for headphone users with that intro. Jokes aside, a slightly more subtle thunder sound would probably take care of that, and prevent other people from nearly throwing their headphones across the room like I did.
It may be, however, I'm not going to be covering fishing. Fishing requires almost its own dedicated content creator in order to get into all the different aspects of it. Its not something I enjoy, so I've put it on the board on my discord and hopefully one of the other content creators I have on my discord will cover it.
Not unless you have a farm with seed bundles to support it. Which would require but a scarecrow and a farmers workstation and enough harvesting vocation exp to make the bundles. Not impossible, but not easy either.
im okay with good easy money. thats why i plan on diving. still have all my sunken chest spots on the map i made. i know some have changed but not the ones out in the middle of nowhere ;)
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork yeah the best part about it is on the best day it equals out to 18-30 silver per labor. on a bad day it still equals out to just above 8 silver per labor. the only real problem is that its very time consuming. more than anything else really
You skipped fishing completely, back at the start it used to be really good for money! Is it bad now? Also do you have a video on underwater treasure hunting? Is it worth it? Thanks for all the videos :)
Damn treasure hunting was awesome before 3.0, I used to just dive in with my submarine and like 8-10 hours going around finishing my labor and making crazy money from ship regrade scrolls etc and 1 or 2 1k gold treasures in a week. I had like 100k exploration and was hunting sunken ships after that point. Don't really know what happened to that after 3.0
the new system of trading is bad because all ships pass from some spots so izi to camp so i think fishing is good, at start because if you have guildastars to buy a house ,you can't make fast trade run you need better transport and thunderlog cost, i never do pro. fishing so this time ...
Nope. I do not have access to the media server, I do not have a referral link to help them sell packages to the game, and I have not been invited back to the official content creator program.
Man I know what none of this means but I bet this is great info my one question is. Does your old guides help brand new players at all with unchained ?
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork yeah 4 years ago i mostly plant with all my labor with 2-4 guildies. if i recall correctly 10 labor per tree planting, mostly planting 200 trees perday, althou the chance for TS is small under 1%. but the profit if got ts is good. well there much risk involved, ppl will raid in war zone mostly. more like gambling lottery than investment. i dont know about vocation needed to plant (buy seed) now?
Fishing is such an in-depth part of the game, I've actually put it in a channel on my discord hoping another content creator picks it up and runs with it. I don't have the time (or the passion to be honest) to make a fishing video. I know someone will make one. Eventually.

Sorry the triangle dosnt work with money. Money is money. There is no such thing as bad money. Thats just nonsense. You can say its not much money. But if you dont make much money, its not fast either. Its slow by definition. You measure money by amount - not quality. So saying "making small amounts of money fast and easy", just does not make any sense. Cause again. Quantity is the only factor here.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork You cannot use the triangle for concepts that only have one singular measure of value "quantity". The triangle was invented to demonstrate how the way you aproach any goal, might result in a tradeoff. You can get something fast and good but it wont be easy. The tradeoff is efford. You can get something fast and easy, but it wont be good. The tradeoff is quality. You can get something good and easy, but it wont be fast. The tradeoff is quantity. But money is a number not a thing. It has no quality. So how can money be easy but not fast? When its valued only by its number? Making pennies fast is easy money? I can throw single pennies at you in quick succession, or I can give you a 100 dollar bill 1000 times slower.. the mathematical result is the same. You receive the exsact same amount, at the same speed in both instances. But if you want to be right, you can keep arguing. I guess math is overrated. When ever someone says "easy money" its implied that you gained some money fairly easy, fairly fast and in a higher amount than you deserved. Now.. everything you said in your video about labor/time and all that. is correct. Just ditch the triangle. It's not helping your point.
Just to let you guys know, none of this stuff is in the game. Everybody is just exploiting world bosses, kill-spamming them. Over 800g a day. Economy is absolutely ruined in this game and it only took a week.
Stopped watching at 8s/l goal xD though I can find something new but this killed me Min accepted value is 10s/l Goal is 1g/l Max I wad doing was 5-10g/l (depending on market state but won't work anymore due to Hiram noob gear :( ) tbh looking for new moneymaking method rn but still goal is 1g/l. Less is not enough to make erenor gear with only 2 alts
So let's break this down a little bit #1 If you already have 1 gold per labor on your money making, you are already far exceeding the pack #2 If someone knows a way to make more than 1 gold per labor do you think they are going to share it? #3 I'm not saying you weren't making 5-10 gold per labor, but I'm going to say I'm betting you are forgetting to take into account a whole lot of things.

Ancestral coinpurses are 7.2 s/l at max larceny. You need to spend 230k labor to get to max. So not worth at all in the beginning.
There is a range based on each purse, I would put 7.2 as low, I've never had it that low over a sample size, and yes you are correct you need to get 230,000 labor to get max.
The trick is ALL silver to labor ratios are low in the beginning until you get your proficiency built up.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork You're right. Queens was at 7.2 s/l. Ancestral is at about 7.65 s/l. Just mixed up the numbers.
It can be done there are a million ways to earn gold in archeage. The old system made the trade more fun.
True
Can u talk about healers in 6.0? What class is the best? Thinking to go doombringer
I will be talking classes once I can get on 6.0
Are trade runs just completely non-viable to make gold anymore? i haven't played since 9 months after the original launch. I'm aware somethings have changed, but it was was one of my favorite things to do =(
They are, they will be talked about more in depth when Commerce is talked about.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork ill be watching
hi, new sub here.
Land will probably be gone within the first 4 days.
I have a video on land and I will be doing some more testing once I get on PTS.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork ill go search up your land video. appreciate the timely feedback!
Thank you for such a great video. Has a new player I found it very helpful.
You are welcome.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork thank you very much :D
Did they remove the quest that gives you like 30k free alchemy proficiency?
It was scrolls that gave 5k and 1 scroll that gives 50k
And no, its till in to my knowledge.
Hello there, what about fishing ?
what about Fishing, it was not the most profitable but it was FUN!?
I don't like fishing, that's why I don't cover it.
As a new player to this mmo, what does staying relevant and competitive mean?
It means not getting one shot or one comboed by other players when you walk out into the world.
Staying within say 10% of the top geared guys.
lol, might want to include an ear rape warning for headphone users with that intro.
Jokes aside, a slightly more subtle thunder sound would probably take care of that, and prevent other people from nearly throwing their headphones across the room like I did.
That intro is actually 20% lower than the old one.
Will be fishing a good method to making Gold?
It may be, however, I'm not going to be covering fishing.
Fishing requires almost its own dedicated content creator in order to get into all the different aspects of it. Its not something I enjoy, so I've put it on the board on my discord and hopefully one of the other content creators I have on my discord will cover it.
Not unless you have a farm with seed bundles to support it. Which would require but a scarecrow and a farmers workstation and enough harvesting vocation exp to make the bundles. Not impossible, but not easy either.
i discover fishing in the previous archeage and was the best. i will repeat on unchained.
HOW DO I GET BLACK ARROW?
I will look into that, I think its the Gilda Design seller in the capital city.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork will look there tomorrow. Thanks
thank you, may god bless you bro
Thanks!
Thats a great video right there, ty!
You are welcome.
im okay with good easy money. thats why i plan on diving. still have all my sunken chest spots on the map i made. i know some have changed but not the ones out in the middle of nowhere ;)
Luckily their is a map that shows all of the sunken chest spawns, should make life easier.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork yeah the best part about it is on the best day it equals out to 18-30 silver per labor. on a bad day it still equals out to just above 8 silver per labor. the only real problem is that its very time consuming. more than anything else really
Awesome money, so much time consuming tho.
You skipped fishing completely, back at the start it used to be really good for money! Is it bad now? Also do you have a video on underwater treasure hunting? Is it worth it? Thanks for all the videos :)
I am not covering fishing, because I have no passion for it. I had a video on underwater treasure hunting, but it is no long accurate.
Don't really know what happened to that after 3.0
Great work
I appreciate it!
Thank you.
Appreciate teh support.
Thanks dude
Welcome.
Great info thank you..love it.
You are welcome.
the new system of trading is bad because all ships pass from some spots so izi to camp so i think fishing is good, at start because if you have guildastars to buy a house ,you can't make fast trade run you need better transport and thunderlog cost, i never do pro. fishing so this time ...
I have some people working on a fishing video.
I think.
I hope.
Maybe.
Staying relevant and competitive is al that matters
Agreed.
Although, that would take us down another rabbit hole of a discussion.
amazing work! did they still didnt give you access to that media server?
Nope. I do not have access to the media server, I do not have a referral link to help them sell packages to the game, and I have not been invited back to the official content creator program.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork that is just sad, you are the best content creator of AA and the help you provide to new players and returning players is huge
Man I know what none of this means but I bet this is great info my one question is. Does your old guides help brand new players at all with unchained ?
My guild? I am not bringing Paradox to Unchained. I do not have that kind of time to invest sadly.
I was referring to your older guides...do they help for brand new players in unchained
Thanks for the info!
illegal farming is the best money, much pvp involved guarding ur thunderstruck pines
Not really given the massive amounts of vocation you are going to need to put down huge illegal pine farms.
Parts 2 when?
When I get some time to do it.
Nice Video. Thanks for the tips.
You are welcome!
are you making a guild bro?
I am not.
I like your triangles.
great video, helped me alot, was clueless lol, i m a poor 55 archer
You are welcome.
Goodthing they delayed Unchained so you can inform of us of everything :)
:)
Yeah I'm working on it, and Ashes of Creation, and Final Fantasy, and my small streamer advice channel.
Too much to do, not enough time.
Can i make money by fishing alone? 😢
Yes
What about HANDICRAFT
I will be talking Handicraft once I can get on 6.0. It was left off this list intentionally.
nothing about fishing?
fishing kinda goes hand in hand with alchemy, because fish can be used to train alchemy
Fishing is such an in-depth part of the game, I've actually put it in a channel on my discord hoping another content creator picks it up and runs with it. I don't have the time (or the passion to be honest) to make a fishing video.
I know someone will make one. Eventually.
what about fishing
I will not be covering fishing, it would take me the majority of my remaining prep time to be able to do one good fishing video.
I have put this on the board for other Content Creators in my group to maybe grab and run with.
It takes time to farm ancestral coin purses.
True, however, you also get them as a natural by-product of doing your Hiram dailies, farming scrolls and infusions, etc, so you aren't necessarily farming them outright you are getting them as a by-product.
I hope aau is gg to be great ...
I think everyone does.
Fishing pls!

@@ParadoxGamingNetwork thanks for reaching out mate, your content is incredible and that's why a lot of people like me would love to see you breaking it down!
However, if you can point us towards a content creator in your group that will work with fishing (or maybe mention it in the next video of yours), that'd be great!
Man your ending fuckin scares me everytime. You gotta insert like 5 seconds of pause.
The old one was worse. Way worse
i'm still trying to make "gold" IRL to buy the game LOL !
LOL
The best way to make gold? Do what everyone else is ignoring. Market to yourself, right?
100% This.

*RUclips: "Truth About Gamigo - ARCHEAGE Unchained & Partnerships"*
There is a lot I would like to say here, however, due to a signed agreement I cannot.
Contextual bad is low, good is high.
But small amounts fast and easy for make sense by your own logic
Quantity - small
Effort - low
Time - low
I guess you've never seen the Good, Fast, Cheap Triangle then.
This guy likes triangles
Indeed
Just to let you guys know, none of this stuff is in the game. Everybody is just exploiting world bosses, kill-spamming them. Over 800g a day. Economy is absolutely ruined in this game and it only took a week.
Yup, the gold exploit did hurt the game.
The Triangle of making money is realy good.
o/ I love me some triangles.
How to get rich quick? Buy gold from gold sellers. Theese gold sellers will ruin the game again
Except if you do that, you risk losing your account.
They are banning gold buyers this time around.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork like they did in retail? I don't think so. At 20 euro/account the reward is greater than the risk.
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
Also don’t tell them about exploration so I can keep that all to myself lol
Sorry, Exploration is on the list of things to talk about.
Stopped watching at 8s/l goal xD though I can find something new but this killed me
Min accepted value is 10s/l
Goal is 1g/l
Max I wad doing was 5-10g/l (depending on market state but won't work anymore due to Hiram noob gear :( )
tbh looking for new moneymaking method rn but still goal is 1g/l. Less is not enough to make erenor gear with only 2 alts
So let's break this down a little bit
#1 If you already have 1 gold per labor on your money making, you are already far exceeding the pack
#2 If someone knows a way to make more than 1 gold per labor do you think they are going to share it?
#3 I'm not saying you weren't making 5-10 gold per labor, but I'm going to say I'm betting you are forgetting to take into account a whole lot of things.
what about fishing
I don't cover fishing, since I don't like fishing.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork ok but it's an option to get gold very fast... I wanted to see how to do it well
@@rachels6523 It is an option. I'm sure some good content creator out there has done a video on it.
