I always had this thought in my mind and thank you for confirming it. I always thought that Chanel has a signature core accord in which they build their perfumes around it and then direct it to be a male or a female fragrance. Because when you smell their creations, you know that it is a Chanel fragrance. Thanks for the video and I hope nobody from Chanel hears that part about 'doubling the price'.
Oh yes. Each house has a way to build a fragrance. So you know the core translates. Tom ford defiantly do. Mine do as well. If you have one of mine your like them all. The way I build it is similar. Musks at a % range, fixatives at a % range. Top notes at a % range. filth at a % range . Its the style of the house.
I would LOVE to see your take and review on Parfums Dusita Splendiris! I think you will be surprised by the quality and Iris Approach that Pissara have.
Confeitoterapia I generally like it but from my sample it died on my skin quickly after numerous sprays :/ my sample was basically gone after 2 uses which is rare for me as I’m a minimal sprayer.
@@aquababy5 Oh, really? That's unfortunate... Splendiris definitely is not a beast mode fragrance, but it was not meant to be one in the first place. On my Skin it delivers what it is supposed to: A silky, ethereal, dreamy, creamy, buttery, vegetal and slightly earthy Iris. It starts off with some violety and a little green/earthy Iris, and develops to a dreamy, and just a tiny bit sweet, orris. The longevity on my skin is average, around 7-8 hours, and the projection is moderate in the first couple of hours, developing to a skin scent, but never really leaves you. People close to you will definitely smell you. But that's ok to me. Once again, that was the intention that Pissara had in mind. If Splendiris had a stronger performance, due to the earthy and vegetal like approach that it has, it would probably chock people out around me (myself included haha), and by doing this, it would lose the lightness and silky quality that it has.
Fantastic review, definitely agree it’s an easy day to day fragrance. I guess one great thing about Chanel is that they capture such a variety of people of different ages ♥️
As always enjoyed the review Aaron. I think that was Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme that you sniffed at Chris's. It's interesting they share some similarities at the core.
Loved the video Aaron, it’s always amazing to watch you break down a fragrance and this sounds like something I would like to try, thanks for introducing it 💥💥🦄
I've always had the notion that the classically stylish Parisian woman doesn't show her naughtiness outright. A little naughtiness in her fragrance ... what an idea!
Mademoiselle is absolutely my favorite women’s fragrance, I wear it my wife wears it, we have 2 backup bottles...no 5 is a close second for me but she detests it.
I love this scent ...I wear this during the day for work....it’s fizzy, fresh clean fragrance with a warm floral dry down ..... and you are right my friend there is No sex in it ...
Aaron, I love your videos! It always nice to hear a parfumers thoughts on some of the most popular fragrances. Just to let you know, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle was the most popular womens fragrance of 2019, but the most popular fragrance is Chanel No. 5. Again, great video, keep it up!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Hey Aaron you've encouraged me to try new fragrances and experiment with things that aren't strictly masculine! I wish everyone could be as authentic and genuine as you are. I'm saving up for Onyx, personally. Cheers from Canada!
Il actually be doing a video on key fragrance that have inspired me from the age of 10. Your see its a mix of stuff. The moment you break free of what marketing say you should like your learn to love fragrance. Not all men love heavy spices and not all women like light floral. Most people are in-between. I bet if I did a blind test for you you would love some 'women' fragrance for the day. ATH
I know I LOVE a fragrance when I take a whiff and I literally blush, smile and laugh. It literally tickles me. That’s the one I buy EVERY SINGLE TIME. This has saved me lots of money too 😉 It’s the Grapefruit in this giving you the 20+ age!!!! Keeps it youthful and playful hence lack of “naughtiness.” ☺️ I love it, it’s one of my everyday ones.
That was gold Aaron I luved french girl reference ....... Question is then Aaron how would you fix chance. what would you add to give tthe scent that sex appeal/filth ?
I love this fragrance, and it is said to be unisex. What percentage of naturals would you think are in this? You should try coco mad, i think of course that it has the core too. Also this comes in edp, thats the one i have. Your brain is amazing! I wish I could pick out notes like you!
Would love to see a review on an Amouge fragrance (Interlude is my fav) and hear your opinion on complexity and price-point when it comes to fragrances. edit: I say this and only just saw you already have tackled an Amouage, love the videos anyway!
Ok Aaron. I think I remember the men's Chanel you reviewed with Chris. I believe it was Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme (AHSEE). You thought it was "boring", but then went on to explain that it was a nice fragrance but Chanel should've done more with it, which I agree. However, I absolutely LOVE AHSEE, even though it comes across as quite linear to some people, and I can see where you're coming from with that. Honestly, I don't mind linear, as long as the projection and longevity is there. Just like Dior Sauvage. Not saying they're the "same", just that they smell good in the opening and just as good in the drydown. I get massive longevity from Chanel (Bleu de Chanel EDP and AHSEE...10-12hrs) and that's what I love about that House. Especially when you consider Creed Aventus is twice as expensive and barely get half the results. Can't wait to get my hands on some ONYX!!! I found a way to get it to me without being scanned, xray'd, etc., and ruined. I'll be sending a sample of Initio Oud For Greatness soon. In my book, you're doing fantastic and blowing the competition out of the water with your reviews!. Have a GREAT day and keep up the great work!!! Always following and looking forward to your next review.
I think if I hadn't been saturated with that combination over the years when I go out I would love it. Its amazing. But over saturation. I feel the same about Creed. Amazing stuff but the over saturation, over duped and over copied makes me hate it. But the original is a masterpiece of how to do perfumery.
Fuckin love your reactions. Very critic and no ashamed. Can you review gucci guilty absolute. Because to me its the worst fragrance ever made. So strong that i get headaches smelling it. Some people like it (i dont know why)

The pink chanel chance eau de parfum is my girlfriends favorite. Not gonna Lie i find it quite pleasant and feminine.
Are there men who wear this? They say it is unisex. I love it, but I am a bit afraid I smell female. Tell me your opinion :)

Rather not use gender labels...
Who here wants to recommend Aaron some more Aventus clones to piss him off and see that solid reaction again. Hit that like.
