I have also want to do this. And I want to find a power strip with a small battery backup so I don’t even have to power it down when moving it. Thanks for the video!
overall, great idea. Is your SSD thunderbolt speed? Otherwise it might be worthwhile to make use of the regular type c port so that you have another thunderbolt port open. Did you make those power cables yourself?
I looked at the vesa mount printable, but my monitors are all on vesa arm mounts, so I think I might need to do 3M take on the back of one of my 4k monitors. Nice vid though!
I got luck with mine that the monitor I'm using has a stand but I've been looking to see if there is a mount that allows for a pass thu so you can use the mount and a monitor mount at the same time. heavy duty 3M or gorilla tape works too. Thanks for watching.

The SSD is pretty fast but suggestion. Thanks. Everything I used in the video is listed and linked in the description. I found those cables on amazon.
