Not really. Political parties only make so much difference to people’s lives, and I’m saying this as a labour supporter. Your assumption that not caring about politics stinks of privilege actually reveals your own privilege because plenty of ‘poor’ people living day to day don’t have the time or energy to involve themselves in politics. Obv that’s not Kate, but you shouldn’t automatically assume that an indifference towards politics is indicative of privilege, because it really isn’t.
