14:20 star he didn't reflect damage back but scorpion had maxed out specter's burning vengeance which is bugged for more than 6 mons n not yet fixed. The bug with burning vengeance is whenever any of the teammate will die it will trigger burning vengeance fx ability(wearer explodes dealing massive damage to entire team) but it's bugged and it explodes even if teammates are deafeted. This is same issue with FGLK in fatal tower he has maxed out burning vengeance so only chance to avoid the massive damage is brutality

The AI for us didn't get nerfed, the AI of the enemies is just broken. If the enemy has block breaker gear, he can chain his combos forever, that's why you need to always check the opponents' equipment if you want to play on auto-mode.
Starinsky: About automode: i kind of agree, but my interpretation is different: i sensed, that only at few specific characters (opponents) who can chain their attacks, your team does nothing (not even tag out). They wait and block until they die. I saw that on few battles in the towers (because i rarely play fraction wars).
It doesnt happen always - as i saw its only against specific characters (klassic scorpion chains his attacks), also kombat cup Sonya chains her attacks, MK11-jade , and few others. Maybe i could make a list of them - but its not everyone.
As far i saw then its also regardless which character you play on automode : he will block until he dies xD
Maybe i am wrong about my interpretation. It would be cool if others tell their experience and impressions about this. Because its definetely something wrong with automode.
It was close but it almost feels like AI is cheating like when Kabal used his SP1 right after a tag-in it's so fast that it might even be impossible to block 🤔

Yes happened with me too..Shaolin Kunjin had a XRAY ready against Klassic Scorpion.Scorpion kept spamming his combo enders & Kunjin kept defending.I pressed SP3 but AI still decided to play defense
Ive noticed that one too, like tf?? Its annoying cause literally there are gaps you can launch a special attack
I opened 2 packs and I got 2 diamonds in a row in ENEG pack
They were Classic Raiden And MK11 Jade
Survivor is brutal.
MK11 Jade one of the deadliest characters in the game. I love her and she is the one who end my run in 185 fatal.
I always beat her with my MK11 Jade but this time she has maxed out annoying tower gear and enraged.
Kombat kup sonya wrecks that battle. If you have these pieces and charecters, use it if youre still stuck.
Kombat kup sonya: widow maker, matokan snake skin, varmits lucky hat.
Kosplay jacquie: dagger of spirits, varmits ace in the hole, ceremonial pipe (ice daggers, power glove, any uncommon ewt piece i reccomend moonshine or sucotash tho)
Covert ops cassie: matokan bear fang, ninja yoroi, sucotash. (Wrath hammer if you dont have matokan bear fang)
Sonyas your main fighter as shes stun immune and can tag jade out while other charecters build xrays. I also recommend using weak point attacks to snare them due to erron blacks blue piece

Special ops team is one of the best in the game and can beat anything with it if you know the technique how to block and corner attack your opponent . I saw people beating battle 200 fatal with that team No klassic Ermac
Autoplay sucks in other places too. I've been noticing that whenever my team fights Klassic Scorpion in particular, they'll just keep blocking against his basics. It's already bad enough that the AI team just mostly blocks all the time.
Yes I have the same experience even in towers. They just block until you lose.
Sometimes, jade unlocks ultra instinct and phases through your basic attacks, it just happened to me not to long ago while playing survivor

I noticed that, every now and then, there will be this battle where my AI team would just play like crap and one of my stronger characters would die in battles 6 to 8 for no reason... (I set it on auto so I didn't even know how the character dies, but I would have one dead and the others are still full of health).
Stuck at 184 fatal tower so close yet so far.
*Yeah I've lost FX characters after 3 battles on Elder using Auto. This never happened before. To me, something changed*
Realized the issue like 2 months, on auto, my characters just stand and block all the time. They also don't use Special attacks unless its special attack 2, or my characters starts with special attacks or if it's kitana. Auto play is just broken at this point.
No, the AI is definitely broken or has different code than the Ai you fighting against. Just try with MK Jade. When she is on auto she evade and never counter attack while the Ai will counter almost immediately.
enemy ai sometimes just feels way to fast even when they use slowe characters, sometimes is just impossible to defend yourself against a combo if they have block breaker, is just insane
i never trusted auto mode to do something important. i use it to finish the challenge battle faster thats all. in faction wars i play manually.
A Fusion 0 MK11 Jade ended my fusion 10 termiator on auto!!!!

I just started playing the game so I dont know much about autoplay
But truly autoplay sucks
They are like i will attack once and then they will attack once but sometimes autoplay doesnt even attack it just stands their to get the beating and that's it
Yeah I don’t grind in survival either. In my opinion, I hate survival. I loved the faction wars we used to have. Now that survival is here, you have to come up with specific teams to dominate the towers to get more points. And even worse, if you face insane teams with maxed out tower gear or whatever, you’re screwed.
So i don’t think grinding that hard to only get Noob is not worth it.

Don't play survival but decided to do elder tower with golds just to end up with mk11 raiden... why did i bother lol

He should've done sp1 with scorpion against jade so he could stall for time and tag out instead of going for sp2 when his health was so low

If you play in auto mode (garbage feature), and when you have 1 or 2 bars of power you press your sp1 or 2 and you can do the sp attacks much faster. But I never use auto mode in survival mode because it's useless ❌️

that was because of shira ryu tower gear called burning vengeance, "USER EXPLODE ON FLAMES WHEN DIES"
this is what ot does, it wasn't mk11 scorpion fire that made your characters 25% hp

Yes. If you block Kabal’s retaliation, you can prevent him from performing his free fatal blow.
Fast characters are the reason why people are losing battles with AutoBattle, it happened to me a few days ago playing against a team with Klassic Scorpion, he was so fast that if Bone Shield didn't trigger I would have died, that's why people are complaining, it's only because the characters are fast that's why your AI keeps blocking till death

You just need to time it give her a block breaker and try not to get hit 😂 do it after the bosses are at brutality range
Do it with Tremor, Voodoo and Tremor gear and also block breaker, Easy Peasy
