Loved hearing about the pH dyes and all the facts behind salt production on the video with Lou. Can tell you’ve done your research on many many topics related to the hobby.
For a minute I didn’t want to use the Salifert calcium and magnesium test I was more focus on using the Hanna but I realized those miss the calcium and magnesium test kit and using the salifert is actually easy
I've started using Tropic-Marin and was pretty impressed with their dKH test kit. Very close to my GHL KH Director just like Salifert was as well. Hanna dKH was off by 3 points...just too high for me.
My issue with the Hanna alkalinity tester is the numbers are all over the place. I’ve done back to back tests and gotten results like 5 and 8. I’m using Aqua Forest to test it now.

Thank You for posting this video, I'm in the market for a new testing kit at the moment! Thanks again
Would really like too se an updated Neptune Apex fusion video. Think Apex for Dummies.
I have a thing about brands and ease of use so the hanna checker testers for everything. Should keep things pretty simple.

Stirrer ??? Why I haven't heard about it?? 🤪 ordered. Thanks.
Can you use the smart stirrer with the Hanna cuvettes?

What do we really need is a good an accurate iodine test kit?
Let me sum this one up for you , use Salifert for everything but calcium 😂
And nitrate lol. Their phos is also super hard to read. The rest though are great
@@andrewkotula1018 Phosphate Salifert is impossible to read.
@@hurricaneaquatics i know, i have it😂
Putting on gloves and doing water testing (especially with a titrator) is a great way to let the ladies know you're basically a 140 IQ Scientist. ;)
Thomas always gets a 👍
I did not hear API… 🙄
