I recently had a quad note generator being played by another quad note generator. It was generative bliss that actually built in intensity and dynamics with the song.
I have to admit.. for a long time did I ignore Reason 11 and the rack plugin and instead stuck with Rewire to connect Live with Reason 10 (which can also run modern rack extensions like Scenic & Friktion) but as time went by I started experimenting and now I really enjoy the rack plugin. Of course I am missing the sequencer & mixer section (for that I still keep Reason 10 around) but in the mean time I also managed to have Maschine fill in those missing gaps.
I think that’s what they were going for with the rack plug-in. Since everyone had complaints(that I mostly did not share) the company made the rack so all the people saying this program does this r that program does that. Reason studios clearly has a different vision for their product from many of those who use it. I was so surprised when people were complaining about it still 😂😂
Look at 1'40 and you got a partial answer! Something in the rack is hidden between 'Complex' and 'Layers'... At least a new instrument is coming, or a new version :-)

@@mercedesescobarmusic Agree. I want clear and crisp instrument panels. I'd also like to be able to put one side of the the rack in a portrait mode second monitor and the other side into a third portrait mode monitor.

How do we begin reason 11 with ZERO modules in the rack, how do we start with nothing... how are things routed... is there ANY PLAYLIST SERIES specifically for this?
I like where reason is going. I never wanted to use another DAW. But I'm forced to smh. I hope they add true marker tracks, folder tracks.
