This is also a thing that happens in the Freelance market especially on different websites that offers Freelance projects, online jobs. there is absolutely no way that a freelance platform would support a scam client but still, some clients get into these freelance markets to provide fake jobs, Freelancing Scam, or making people lose money on freelancing websites. beware of these fake clients on freelance markets such as fiverr, Upwork or Freelancer. many questions arises as people experience freelance scams that either upwork is legit or scam, fiverr is legit or scam, Freelancer.com is legit or scam.

A client from nigeria told me to design a logo for his software company, when i designed logo he loved it & he said "send me it's PSD file". I told him that I can't trust you first pay me for it. But he said that I also can't trust you. I told him that I was scammed before it and now I don't waant to be scammed, so sorry!. He also send me message that I was also scammed. So I send him PSD file trusting him but he didn't reply me after sending PSD file. So here's the tip, Send your work in zip file with password to client and say him to pay you first, then you will gave him password.

Hlo I'ma fresher recently started in freelancing I got a offer to proofreading and editing and they given an Draft agreement is this Real one or fake they mentioned 1.recipient have no right to sue the owner
2.should acourt or judistrion find any illegal or agreement is invalid and unforecable the terms remain full force and effect
is this term and conditions apply to all are they making up things I'm really glad if you reply

I post a bid on upwork, then I got message from Client that they hire me for job, they asked to mail on that given mail address.. then suddenly job post is deleted after also received massage is deleted. Then I got mail on my email address, they share me contract details and project details. In contact they mentioned security deposit point. Yet I have not accept it. Same proposal I received by 2 client's. Is this totally scam right? I google that company information, company status is showing strike off. Please reply. Thanks.

But how may we know whether a work assigned is illegal or legal, like editing some non editable pdfs or providing the job provider some information which he doesn't have access but other people have (the reason can be like he must has been banned from accessing that site)
So in such cases as we have also helped him so we are also held as an accused. So how can we prevent ourselves from such cases?

1: Deal client on freelancer or upwork conversation.
2:If they want to pay you via bank transfer or any other method dont trust them.

No never send payment to any client you are doing their work to own money not to pay money first
And second thing don't send your full work to client without payment
And third don't join them any any other conversation plateform like teligram and WhatsApp and don't trust them if they ask you to receive payment through out of your freelancing website

Is it a scam if the client is asking you to pay the IP Agreement before signing the job to you?
Edit: Yes, that was a fake client. Before wasting your bid, you must check whether the client has actually deposited the payment. Job description says it all to know if the client really wants to hire someone or that's a scam.
How to find out that the client actually deposited the payment?

Mai Ek Naya freelancer hu aur mujhe ek project mila cliant se aur usne mujhe ek task diya jo ki screenshot picture 30 page ka diya aur usko MS word file me typing karne ko kaha aur wo file companyka emailme bhejneko kaha humne MS word file banake company ka email me kbheja uske baad paymentke liye cliant ne bank details manga aur maine bheja uske baad cliant ne kahaki aapka linking process baki hai uske liye aapko $35 bhejna hoga ye kya hai sir .yeh sab baten freelancer se hote hote telegram me chala gaya.

Hlo I'ma fresher recently started in freelancing I got a offer to proofreading and editing and they given an Draft agreement is this Real one or fake they mentioned 1.recipient have no right to sue the owner
2.should acourt or judistrion find any illegal or agreement is invalid and unforecable the terms remain full force and effect
