How to solve this: On 30 June 2023 Sam assigned the lease of a building that had been acquired as an investment for £35,750; the lease expires on 30 June 2039. He had acquired the lease for £12,000 on 1 January 2015 and the building has never been used as her principal private residence. The relevant percentages from the lease percentage table are as follows: 16 years 64.116 24 years 79.622 25 years 81.100 Required: Calculate Sam's gain or loss on the assignment.
